I used Malabrigo worsted yarn, it's really soft. But it's a bit expensive ($12- more or less)... Though I still recommend it. You'll have quite a bit of the yarn left over, so use it for something else.

I don't remember which size hook I used. But I tend to go for the tiny ones. B-G. Whatever works.
