I applied for the Fashion&Design program at the Amsterdam Fashion
Institute I had to bring own work and as an assignment for that day I had to create a fashion doll out of recycled materials... the creation had to be an accessory which you can carry with you (like a chihuahua or a bag) and be a person, being, animal or idol at the same time... it was so hard and I had only three days to make it!!!

I made a doll of Amelia Earhart because I thought of the story I had heard in American History class about her being the first woman to fly around the world and the speculations of her death... I was just fascinated. I made a bag as well from an old car play mat...to make it look as if she was floating down in her parachute over the suburbs.
