A purple vest in steampunk/gothic/celtic style..
One of my best friends wanted a really cool vest, but the price was ridiculous and it was already sold out. I was very bored and asked her if she would be happy if i made her one, but in purple. She was defenitly thrilled. And to make it even better, i will tell you how i did it.

You Will Need

Step 1Begin with two pieces of fabric and sketch the sleeve.

Step 2Now cut this like so. You should have 2 sleeves.

Step 3Now you do the same at another piece of fabric, but this time you make the sleeve bigger and longer.

Step 4Like this.

Step 5This is what you should have.

Step 6Take your pins and pin everything as you want. It should look like this.

Step 7Now sew everything together and take out your pins.

Step 8Cut a triange what's large enough for your head.

Step 9Now sew this on the rest of the project.

Now you make the edges beautiful. You can do this with fabric, thread or whatever you want to use.
