I was inspired by the McQueen flats from a few seasons ago and decided to free hand all of the skulls on to the shoes using a gel pen and then went over them with white Humbrol enamel paint. I required about 2-3 thin coats of paint for the skulls to be opaque against the black shoes. I then went over the entire shoes with a layer of Modpodge to seal them.
