The aftershave consists of dried herbs and/or flowers (I used witch hazel leaf, comfrey, rose buds, lavender, and borage) olive oil, witch hazel and distilled water. Again, natural stores will sell bulk herbs for very little money for the amounts needed.

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

Pour into a large glass jar and give it a good shake. Let it sit for as long as possible, up to two weeks. If it only steeps a few days, that's fine but be sure to shake it twice a day.

When it smells about right, strain out the herbs and pour into a nice bottle. I repurposed an empty glass vanilla extract bottle and customized it with decoupage.
