a simple tank top...you could use a tee-shirt for this too...

time to get the fabric out!..cut out a long strip measure you tank long ways for so the strip and the tank are the same ways in hight and the width whatever mine is three inches

time to sew...
your going to sew in the middle of the fabric strip..

to make the ruffles all you need to do is push the fabric up a little bit so the it looks like this

you can make the loops big or small thats how your ruffles are going to come out..mine were samll

now that you have a lot of loops done you cant sew as you go keep adding loops..

now that the ruffles are done!
pin the strip to the tank make sure its right in the middle..

ok...your almost done!

this part is optional...you can add buttons!!

and...your done!!
