I made the flowers, stitched down the sides, and then sewed them together. I was a bit lazy and just glued the necklace chain (after snipping it in half) on - hence the big blob of glue on one flower, sigh - I was originally going to use ribbons, but liked the contrast of the chain with the soft felt.
