Cut your material to the size you want, plain material is best (i used a bit of old curtain)

Choose your food colouring colours, put a few drops of each colour in seperate bowls an add a little water. This gives you a slightly lighter colour (add more or less water/food colouring to adjust colour)
Then fill a bowl with just water.

Take your pipe cleaners or sponge n dip into the food colouring 'paint' and then paint onto your material using neat food colouring and watered down colours.
You can use the plain water to blend the colours.

When its dry, add details using ribbons and beads and I added extra details with nail varnish.

Put in a frame and Happy Birthday Mom! x
