a boil up is a traditional dinner that is cooked in a large pot.

people usually cook a turkey or a chicken to go with it.

we also call it a jiggs dinner

  1. Step 1

    first boil the salt beef in a large pot.

    when it boils, drain the water(keep the beef in) and boil again.

  2. Step 2

    once it has boiled again, add the add the carrot and turnip. After another half hour, add potatoes, and let them boil from about 30 minutes

    drain and serve

For those who may not be aware, salt beef is also known as corned beef.
