this was a tube dress that i never wear cuz it makes me look fat( how come i dint notice it wen bought the dress?) i saw britanny's how-to, and took my dress out.. it had a very broad seam. so it was very easy to thread elastic through it. the part of the dress that formed the bust already had elastic stiched into it so it was streachy and fit my waist well..the 3rd pic is the original dress with the elastic threaded into the seam. and the last pic is a close up to the opening i made in the seam to thread the elastic through.... the satin ribbon that wud originally go bellow the bust now forms a cute bow to the side of the skirt.. no stitching needed at all :)
