A little hocus pocus in the kitchen...maybe

I decided to get witchy crafty :D. I had these bamboo placemats that were breaking off...so I decided hey what a way to put a use to them by making a wand out of them.

I didnt know how paint would do on the bamboo but i wanted some color. So I was staring at my paper shredder and grinned.

I took a few magzine pages and shredded them. Then with glue wrapped it around. I coated it with mod podge and sealed it.

Once it was dried I took some hemp string and tied it around as a handle.

Then took some green and silver wire and twisted around it.

I found a clear piece of quartz and glued it down and while the glue was still wet I poured...yes poured..not drizzled cause I got a bit excited lol...on the glob of glue.

I found a silver ring that I wasnt using anymore and tied it at the end of the hemp string. ..hope ya like...
