make your own little birdy to tell your secrets to.
So we all need a little friend for telling our secrets to and what better than a little birdy. I can't really own birds but I think the image of birds are cute so I came up with the idea to make one. I hope you have fun making your own friend, and please post pics!

Step 1get your fabric prepped. I always iron my fabric before I start it makes for a better cut.

Step 2next cut out shape of bird. I though of it like a bean shape but rather than being all the way round it had a point at one end for the tail.

Step 3Now take out your second fabric. the one that you will be doing the beak and wings. Now cut out a square for the beak. fold that square in half and hand sew it close so it makes a triangle.

Step 4From the same fabric cut out two little wings.

Step 5now figure out where you want your button eyes on your little birdy, and sew them on both pieces.

Step 6now sew the wings on both sides

Step 7now pin right sides together, but while your ding this also pin the beak facing in wards so it will be sewn into the seam.

Step 8start sewing, and remember to leave a small opening to pull threw.

Step 9now time to pull threw. I just stick my fingers in and just start pulling gently.

Step 10If every thing pulled threw right and looks fine you can begin stuffing. Though make sure ever thing is staying all well.

Step 11now sew your little birdy up and your good to go.

Step 12Take lots of pictures and show me your little birdy.
