This is my first project here and was my first attempt in making a pinafore dress on my own; 100% hand-stitching and it took about 3 days. I made lots of mistakes while cutting and sewing; had to re-sew and re-open, again and again. :'( *embarrassed!*

It was supposed to be a very simple one; with a big bow at the back and simply plain at the front. But, after I had finished sewing everything, it felt a lil bit tight (AHH! :/).

So, I had no choices but to tweak some changes on this dress. I made a long cut medially on the front and put a 20" zip there. So, I took out the original shorter zip which I had sewn earlier on its left side.

Here came the problem; how to nicely cover this front zip? As I am simply a beginner in tailoring, I had no other ideas but to put a little bow at the end of this long zip. I might want to remove this little one later because I don't really like it. I have already sewn a big bow at the back, and now, another small one at the front? Do you think it's inappropriate and ugly? Do you have any other suggestions?

P/S 1: I love those flowery buttons that I put on my double straps. It was taken from my old t-shirt that I wore on the first day while sewing this dress. HEHEHE. And, that 20" zip? It was taken from my sweater which I wore on the next day of sewing this stuff. HAHA! >:)
