Spring captured in a homemade apothecary jar

For under $10, I made a cute apothecary jar with a nest and eggs, with an accompanying blue bird!

The tag reads "A Gift of Spring."

I had a blue parakeet, so anything with cute little blue birds is special to me (and my favorite color is shiny light blue - just like the eggs!)

Instructions

  1. 1

Use E-6000 to glue a dollar store candlestick ($1) to the bottom of a canning jar.

  2. 2

Use E-6000 to glue a glass drawer pull (from Home Depot or the like) to the lid of the canning jar.

  3. 3

Paint wooden eggs to desired color. Let dry, and set in a nest (made from scratch or purchased in a craft store). Set next and eggs in bottom of jar.

  4. Step 4 4
