A 36" diameter crochet rug
A 36" diameter freeform crochet rug. Project was started as a means of using all of my yarn scraps. I crocheted 1/2" diameter tubes of various lengths and colors. I flattened the tubes and stitched them together as I twisted and turned them in a freeform manner. {I used a 36" diameter table as my template.}

You Will Need

Step 1gather all your yarn scraps

Step 2
crochet various 1/2" diameter tubes of different lengths and colors

Step 3
flatten the tubes with the palm of your hand. Place the flattened tubes together , twist and turn in a freeform manner...and stitch together.

This is probably really silly but what is 1/2" diameter tubes and how do you make them. I tried to look it up and its probably something I already know but with a different name.
