But without the chocolate! Or at least, the cocoa.
I do not recommend this version unless you like egg-flavored cake. The cocoa, that I left out, masks the egg-flavor.
Perhaps the cocoa needs to be replaced with something else that adds a bit more dry body because this version was rather... wet.. sponge-like.
I did put in some chunks of chocolate, which sunk to the bottom and became a sticky mess. :-p
I did make the version with cocoa a few times, that one is much better and very yummy with chocolate pieces in it.
