The basic knots

these are the 4 basic friendship bracelet knots. This tutorial should be learned BEFORE you make any other bracelets or it may be very confusing.

First get your strings, you can use; yarn, embroidery floss, or craft string. (i'm using embroidery floss)
then tie a knot at the top (i do aa normal knot but some people do a loop knot.)

FORWARD KNOT:

I always think of it as FOURward knot because you make a 4 with the two strings and loop it under then pull up tight. Repeat.

BACKWARD KNOT:

It is pretty much a forward knot but you make a backward four and loop it under. Repeat.

FORWARD, BACKWARD KNOT:

Same thing as a forward knot but instead of repeating it you do a backward knot.

BACKWARD, FORWARD KNOT:

Same as a forward, backward knot but first you make a backward knot then a forward knot. sorry picture is blurry :(
