I made the First one in a Sewing class at my local sewing lounge. The pattern was a mail order thing from a Womens Magazine in the 50's. There were some things I didnt particularly like about it, the top part of it and the lack of the waist band being lined chiefly. So when I made the second one at home I cut out twice the material required for the waist band and sewed the apron part into the middle of the waist band before sewing the waister band shut. That was probably the most complicated part!
I think if i were to make another (and I have some lefto over leopard print material from a different project so I probably will. I would sew more bias to the expose edges of the cotton because they tend to fray when you wash it.
Aside from that its a very cool apron and I love the fact it has pockets!
This is one of my first projects on my sewing machine on my own so I sew very slowly. Anyone who was confident could whip one up in two hours i recon.

Nice! I really like the shape of the skirt too. Must remember that.
