A cute dress which, when sleeveless, has a 1950's/1960's vibe.
There are two sets of pictures. In the first set, I had not attached to sleeves yet or hemmed it, the dress looked more "1950's" without the sleeves, but I wanted sleeves.
The main features of the dress is the simple skirt half, with has box pleats on the top. That piece is connected to the top piece with has 2 darts on the front and back to contour. The top also has darts running inward from the sleeve holes to make the sleeves fit. The other features are the elbow length sleeve and a zipper on the top back. It does have a seam running up the front torso, but that is because I didn't use a yard of fabric, I made this from a scrap of fabric I bought that someone had apparently been trying to make an oversized jacket out of, but gave up.

Wow,really gorgeous. It is such a lovely print! What kind of fabric is it? Stretchy or non-stretchy?

Non stretchy...it's sort of a thick-ish woven fabric.
