Corset with 12 pieces all together < Image 1 of 4 >
So i started out with twelve pieces and i took me a while to sew them all together and adjust the bodice. But i am very happy with the result. Now if i only could get around to finishing the dress that is going to be under the corset...
Wow nice work!! I just saw a sweet tutorial on threadbanger.com for a simpler corset with no ribbing, just fabric and lacing in the front. I assume you could add some darts and ribbing if you desired, with a little modification.
I'm a big fan of thread banger but the episode where they showed us how to make a corset was published after i was finished with mine. But if i ever decide to make another one, i will probably use less pieces.
Sorry...

Soooo pretty, was it really hard to make and what did you use for the ribbing?
