Ideas For Halloween Swaps

I love the bag idea.
Paper swap Mary and I just completed was be fun.We could include candy if swap partner can due to location.

I like the idea of a homemade candy bag with candy in it! Though 4 items to go with it could be tricky for me. Could we maybe do the bag filled with candy (maybe at least 3 types of candy?) and a dotee?

Should the bag be bigger then? if we're just doing the bag and a dotee?
I was thinking a very small bag, like 5 inches tall, and then what amount of candy? You said 3 different types, so is that just 3 different pieces (like 3 different bars, or boxes of individual sized candy? Not 3 pieces like tiny hard candy wrapped in plastic size bits?)

I was thinking like someone could actually take trick or treating? So maybe like A4 paper size or bigger? Then for candy maybe do it weight? 500g or something? Feel free to ignore though honestly! I just freaking love candy Happy

hehe ok so a regular size bag and candy(can discuss amount with partner) and a Dotee? Anyone else care to comment on the size of the bag? I just dont know how many people will be able to make a large bag, with sewing or crochet. But I love the idea Happy

Ok- well small pouch would be okay for me also, but like I said I cant make 4 items this month, just too busy! I'd happily just do dotee swap too....dunno, I think i might be making this more difficultt than it has to be!

Just to complicate matters further - why not have one large item (the larger size bag) OR two smaller ones (a pouch and one other item)
Feel free to ignore my suggestion - but I will swap anything for peanut butter m&m's! (can't get them easily over here!)

That's a good idea Julie! Giving people the option to make a large bag and dotee or a small bag+another item and dotee. That's a great solution to the problem I was thinking people might have, of sewing or otherwise making a large bag.

I love PB m&m's too!!!! They are my most favorite PB candy ever!

I love the idea of a Halloween swap but I've only ever made one or two dotees. I think 2-3 small/medium items plus a candy bag would be awesome, though. Either way, you can count me in for it!

Ok so here is what I am thinking

*1 Larger Bag (at least 8x11, the size of printer paper)
*OR a Small Bag (at least 4x5) PLUS another handmade item
*Candy (at least 2 different kinds, for example a Kit Kat and a bag of M&M's)
*2 Halloween Themed Items (for example, a cute hair clip and Dotee Doll)
