    "Time/thyme" Inchies

Started over 3 years ago · Last post over 2 years ago · Displaying Post 1 - 30 of 251 in total
I've just made my first Inchies and wondered whether anyone would like to swap some.Inchies are 1" x 1" fiber squares.I would love to start with a spring themed swap.Would anyone like to swap 12 of these fabric fancies per round ?
    These are the first batch.

I would propose a sign up of 10th of the month and send out 17th

Sorry to get your hopes up but not I didn't want to swap. I am a newbie to crafting and the site. Your inches are really pretty. What are they for?

    Hi Erin
INchies can be used for a number of things , mini cards ,accents for projects or like ATC to inspire and share crafty friendship.I also alter books and they are great focal points for these. You can also make inch by inch friendship house .
They make fun small spaces to experiment. They are small and lightweight so should make easy posting.
Will keep you posted Ale :0)

I definitely want to participate in this. Will you post these on your profile as creations so I can get a better look? I'm not understanding exactly how to make them.

I like the sound of this but I'm not sure how you make them. A how to would be handy. :)

Ashley and I both live in the same state! It'll be super cheap to swap inchies within the same state!

Clarification: Are we making only 12 small inchies or are we putting them all together on a piece of fabric like your project shows?
  17. Posted over 3 years ago · Edited over 3 years ago
    I'll let you guys decide :0) ( after all we're all grown up's )
  18. Posted over 3 years ago

I've been playing around and have a couple worked out and I'm really enjoying this. Where does the idea come from?
  20. Posted over 3 years ago
A book !!!! Called Collaborative Art Journal and Shared Visions in Mixed Media by LK Ludwig.Publisher is Quarry books. One of the great things about moving to the US is that there are so many more amazing books than I ever saw in the UK.This is actually a library book which i may well purchase for myself one day. These also a Yahoo website if you need more inspiration.I have to say I'm really enjoying making them too.Have made three sets and will post them once swap is complete.Off to play some more !
