Ok everyone it's time I got to actually finish a swap as I haven't had much luck lately, so I'm going to host one. Will leave sign ups open until the 5th Jan (my time, I think I'm ahead of most of you)

I offered this idea in swap ideas 2010 so thought I might put it into action. Going to give till the end of Jan for this one with the last send out date being around 31st. That gives just over 3wks to complete.

I'm going to also list a couple of rules for this as I have noticed a few swaps missing a few people as of late.

1. No Newbies (if you are in the process of completing the newbie swap that is fine)
3. This is open to all international CO&Keepers.
4. When you join please PM me your addy. Once partners are decided you can both exchange addys.
5. DO NOT send out until your partner is also ready to send out. This will hopefully prevent future people not receiving anything in return if their partner suddenly disappears.
6. DO keep in close contact with your partners and in the thread on how you are/aren't going with the swap.
7. If you are going to have to pull out due to any reason please let us know ASAP so that your partner can be repaired with someone else. If this is the case and there is no one spare I will open up the sign up for an extra person to help them out.
8. If your partner has stopped contacting you also let me know ASAP. They will be given 1wk to respond (from the date of me being notified of their absence) before you are officially dropped from the swap. If you do come back (I understand that sometimes we just have no access to the internet) and you are still egar, please let me know and we can work something out from there

I hope these rules don't seem too strict for a swap. They have only been set inplace due to me noticing a lot of swappers missing in action and us never hearing from them again. This isn't fair to the ones who put a lot of effort in.

So now with all the technical stuff out the way who wants some candy goodness?
I was thinking it might be nice to add into this swap different types of candy from where you live but of course you don't have to do this. The rest is up to your lovely imaginations.

Oh, this sounds great! I used to have a friend from Scotland and Germany, candy was always the main thing we sent. If anyone has Kinder Eggs near them PLEAASSEE send them my way, I miss those.

I haven't been signing up for anywhere near as many as I've been short on funds and inspiration but this sounds cool. Can I play too? :)

Is there a cost limit/guideline for the candy?

I wasn't sure about a cost guideline for the candy. Seeing as it will be hard to set as we are all from different places. The main this I would say is keep it with in your own budget. Don't go too overboard if you can't afford it.

Normally when I partner up I try and get people in the same country however since this is a candy swap and candy from somewhere new is much more fun I mixed you all up a little. If this means that people may need some extra time to send out due to money restrictions that is fine.

Hey kit kat, is there a specific type of candy that you like? For example: peanut butter, caramel, marshmallow, gummi, etc..
I'll prob send a mix, but I figured if there's something in particular I can make sure to throw it in there.

I was on a roll last night with stuff and then my mini hobbie drill stopped working :'( I hate when you get on a roll like that and it is interrupted and there is nothing you can do to remedy the situation until the next day! (Lucky my bf is lovely and going to buy me a new one today, probably because I complained about it heaps last night hahaha)

I don't think I like CO&K's changes with the boards as you only see the top 4 which can be a bit deceptive and you can that nothings been added to the ones your looking for. Anyhoo this is cool and I'm looking forward to saying goodbye to my teeth :D I love sweeties - I shall get on the case next week.

The board thing is a bit of a pain cos also you think that something could have been added to a post you're looking for only to find the last post is days old bah.

Hopefully all buses should be running properly next week and I will be able to go and buy sweeties hurray=D must try not to eat them all myself=>
