Need some help from my crafty friends

I have this fabric that I want to use to make a birthday present for a 19 year old college student, who loves all things kawaii and hello kitty.

Here is the pic of the fabric, it's got a stiff tulle kind of feel to it and it's see through.

She doesn't like Tutu's cause I thought of making that but it was Veto'd by her BF

frilly pillow? you could edge the pillow/cushion with that, or over it completely and layer the fabric, embellish with hellow kitty stuff?

Looks like there's quite a bit.
A bag?
It could be double lined if its quite tranparent, line each piece then make a proper lining once you've sewn the bits together)

that's a cute Idea!! And It would leave left over fabric for more ideas XD Happy I like to give multi-gift prezzie, usually something sewn, something sculpted, something bought and something unique XD
