    Here's shorter link: http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/576/36bac67132b006dc23698d0pp2.jpg

This is the kind of thing you're after right? http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/gothic_lolita_headpiece

Heaband is just a wide strip of white fabric or ribbon with ruffled black lace sewed alond the long edges (you can buy pre-ruffled lace, or you can just buy some regular lace and "gather" it)

Sew a strip of thin ribbon to each of the short ends and tie under your chin.

For the roses you can buy artificial roses, or you could make some fabric ones like this (for example): http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/fabric_roses_2

EDIT: Looks like Haruhi has some dangly bits of ribbon too. You can just sew on some left-over ribbon from the stuff you used to tie it on.

Will do! What fabric would you recommend for the white base? I want something easy to use but looks great.

Your best bet is to visit a fabric shop and have a look yourself. Personally I'd use a medium-weight polyester. But there are lots of options that will be fine.

Avoid flimsy material, and the nasty cheap satins (don't want to look like a hen-night French maid, right?). And don't go for anything too heavy, or dull (fleece or linen would look wrong).

You might be able to use a length of wide ribbon, but that might be a bit slippery and flimsy for you to sew.

Thanks again ^.^! I'll see if I can hop along to the a local fabric shop to see what I can see.
