Valentines present for Marine

Hey guys, i was hoping you could help me think of something nice to do for my boyfriend/soon to be husband who is away at camp geiger right now. I feel terrible because they have an extended liberty weekend over valentines weekend and i have no way of getting there to visit like the other girlfriends :/ so he'll be one of the few with no one to spend it with so im trying to think of something really good to send him.

any thoughts?

i was gonna send some baked goods but with the snow storm coming i wont be able to make it home from school to use an oven && the dorms dont have one.

so right now all i have is a half done comic book im drawing of our love story :]

Anything that you make him he will love. My Husband was at Camp Pendelton last year for V Day. I sent him cookies and a plushie valentine ninja. The cookies were stale by the time he got them though )= ( Took over 2 weeks for them to make it; they had switched bases). But, he loved them anyway. And congrats on being with a Marine! LOL

Here's a toast I love to say, " If you married a Marine, raise your glass. If you didn't raise your standards!"

Send him a photo of yourself with a special message on the back that means something to just you two. He will put it up for the rest of the guys to see with a beaming smile.

I married a bomb disposal engineer. The most expensive gardener I know. He's always covered in muck!!!! ;-D xxx

The comic of your love story sounds LOVELY. Something very personal. He would probably also love a photo of you like Sheila said. Baked goods may not be so good incase they do go stale.

thank you guys for the suggestions!! we had a great vday! he sent me roses and candy and we spent the whole night over the phone having a movie/dinner date.lol. && i settled with sending him he comic book and poem i wrote him and a personalized card :] thanks again guys!!
