Love your project btw. but couldn't wear it on my head as it's a pigeons feather, they don't bend as well as ostrich and they aren't very clean birds in the uk. I'd be very worried, bleach and disinfectant would destroy the feather

You can make a kity toy. You can tie the feather and a little bell with a string and then tie the string to a dowel or a stick. Fun for kitty and entertainment for you. =^..^=
