anyone know of any online shops for UK sellers? i had an etsy shop but found that no one was buying and i currently have a folksy shop but both are expensive to run if no one buys anything.

Facebook definitely helps. Whether you sell directly on Facebook or just set up a page for your shop, it'll help bring more customers to you.
Facebook also makes it easy to run giveaways and special coupon codes for your other shops.

also you need to advertise and get seen, its no good just making a shop and expecting people to come flocking. it also helps to sell things that are in fashion or in demand.
