How can I tell if a buyer is genuine?
I just got my first order and the shipping address is weird, and the etsy account was made the day of the purchase. I'm a bit hesitant to send it out because I can't tell if it's genuine.

@ Nikki, did u receive the payment already? Always wait untill you receive the payment, you can also google the adress maybe?

It happens more that people want to buy something and created a account to buy because their buyers and not sellers. you can only buy with a etsy account.

i received the payment and google couldnt find the address but the nice helpful people of CO+K have told me that it's probably the address of someone on a military base. i have sent it, i'm hoping the buyer tells me when she gets it and leaves feedback.

since my last post Ive been commisioned 4 times ! Its took off better than I could have hoped and it was a picture of a bracelet I sent off on a swap that started getting me noticed. I wear alot of my jewellery round college and its getting my brand so to speak out there which is really weird. I dont intend for it to be much more than a hobby but atlast I seem to have lift off.

I feel with commissions sometimes it's the nature of the item ie jewellery which people want unique, rather then a toy. I'm having trouble even being looked at, I think I've had maybe 15 views on all my items (total) in over 3 months since I opened my store
