I remember when I joined the site there was a button where you could see the members who live in your country. It was a great way for me to talk to people also from South Africa. Could we have that feature back?

I remember this - thats how I found out that Secret Squirrel lived so close to me.

I liked that, especially if you live in obscure places or notin a city, it'd be good to have it back. :)

I agree. I just moved to Kauai and I dont know anyone. Might be cool to know if there are any crafters near me.

To be fair, they moved to the states last summer and were traveling around a lot. When you have only 2 people running a website as big as this it can take time to get stuff done.

I've never seen this feature, but it sounds great!

I think Otis a good idea for some but some are conserved in this age with stalkers and what not so it should be able to be turned off if desired

It wasn't like a google map thing where you could zoom in, it just showed which town you were in. I think sharing your location on your profile is optional anyway (although it won't work for me ATM,)

I am a brand new member and this feature was part of the introductory email which I received. If you no longer have it, you should at least delete it from the introductory email.

Haha, it is still in the intro mail, 4 months later. :P
