The one thing I've never been good at is promoting Cut Out + Keep, so I was wondering if you guys had any crafty ideas for getting the word out and attracting more crafty people?
Also, for curiosity, how did you guys find CO+K?

i found it on craftbits ( i think that is the site) and loved it. I have tired getting my best friend into it, because there are something totally her style, but shes to lazy to do crafts. *sighs* and I'm happy i found this site, i love doing crafts but most of the sites i find are old lady crafts, or kiddie crafts (there is only so many crafts that you can do of those that look cool, i am not into finger painting) and those sites aren't very inspirational, though i do enjoy doing ones with steps when my mind is in an uncreative mood i like to make things i know i came up with, or at least changed here and there on the item. And this site had people around my age, which makes me feel better because i feel that im not the only 18 year that does crafts for more than just a few moments when i have nothing better to do.

For years I've been buying Somerset Studio mags for interesting ideas for my crafting. But I noticed more of these mags advertising more craft things to purchase as opposed to found and recycled items you already have to make crafts and it was getting pricey to make anything.
I never got around to searching for a site like this before...but I was influenced to post them here from my daughter.
I think about the handwork crafts my grandmothers and grandfathers made and the answer I find is that they were void in their lifetime of the things we have now that take all our time up. Our life is what we choose to do and not do.
I choose craft and it may sometimes include art but mostly it includes the members/friends here that encourage me to continue to craft because we choose to share, create from all walks of life to make it ourselves.
I have no answers or ideas about advertising but I am grateful for CO+K.
**Hugs all around**
Thank we very much for CO+K...okay, now I need to pick a craft to work on and I have so many to choose from here!!!

I found you on Google! I was searching for some phrase I found on another crafting website, and CO+K was on the first page of results. Turned out to be irrelevant to what I was searching for (I think it was for papercraft designs... to cut out and keep, haha), but it looked neat so I signed up anyway.
EDIT: I just realized how old this thread is. Serves me right for browsing the archives without checking dates, I guess. Sorry for the necropost. :b
