i noticed that allot of people on here are wary about swaps and the ony thing you have to rely on is a persons word. [that is untill they stop contacting you] i was wary but my particular Swapper is The Greatest and is very sweet [Gypsie Moon] .we just recently swapped pop tabs for one of my makeup boxes and a few extra things. sooo if you feel like rating a swapper good or bad do it here

im asking cratrella is there a way we can have a swap rating icon on our pages to see if people are reliable when it comes to swaps. so people dont feel wary about swapping

This is a great idea, and I was thinking the other day that maybe also we could have a swap record, to show whose been in what swaps and rate them there. Now that would be cool!!!

I only thought of this because I had a couple of newbies who entered my hosted swaps who didn't make good on their end, it's sad but newbies don't always make the best swappers. So for those of us who host swaps will know who to be weary of. I hate to deny people from swaps, but its not fair to others when they don't reap the joy of receiving a swap.

Just a thought.

i totally agree. because if you take the timeout to make somethingor organize a swapand pay for the postage you deserve that the other perssonis saud ti send1 i soooo want to start this either in boards or something before we get the actual rater

I had this idea of a bit added to peoples profile page, at the bottom that relates to swaps. Like when you post a new project, the individual would post a new swap. To do this you would fill in a new form like when you post a new project or how to. On it you'd say the swap title, your partner, date posted, date received (the reciever would have to post this somehow) and when its received the reciever could post piccies (like with a project when you add piccies) and people could favourite it, comment etc. I don't know how much sense that makes so please say if it makes none. I have an idea in my head and its hard to translate it into something that makes sense for others :/

It could work in a similar way to how people rate eachother on eBay perhaps...??
It sounds like a great idea, because I know there has been alot of problems with swappers recently and it shows people the more reliable swappers.

and maybe along with the rate a swaper on the profile page a place to put all the swaps we been in and the status of each one...like a Swapper Resume...I been in alot of swaps and it would be nice to keep track of all the ones I been in as well as future swap hosts can use as a reference too :D

Yeah, this is really needed for the swaps. But until the rating becomes available I'd reccomend all hosts of swaps to make some basic rules on who can/can't enter. Eg.
1. Participants must have been a member on CO&K for 2 months
2. Participants must have posted 4 projects/creations
3. Participants must have posted over 100 posts on the board
