Anybody ever see that show in Kentucky about a pest controll guy?
He uses vex-con on all pest problems, and supposedly they use all natural plant derrivitaves to kill bugs... maybe some research on vex-con (not sure of spelling) will do the trick. Basically those "chemicals" are bad for pests but not harmful for humans to be around, if none of the at home remedies work.

ive tried a a few of those(the vinegar, the borax solution, cinnamon, citrus oil, citrus cleaner, baking soda, orange peel, cucumber) and they didnt work >.< i wonder if beeer will work for ants?? it works for rollie pollies eating the strawberrries

Give them lots and lots of cornmeal around their home. They can not digest it and they take it home for everyone to share. Buh-bye.

There are also some natural plants that ants do not like. The plants that they hate are Lavender, Mints, Pennyroyal, Tansy and Curry herbs. They hate the smell of lavender so even cutting a few sprigs and laying them by the doorways might help.

Finally, Watch out for Aphids. Be sure you have lots of lady bugs around! You can order them online. Ants, harvest Aphids and re-plant the eggs every year. Lady bugs LOVE eating aphids. Take into account the cost of spraying aphids V buying lady bugs and order around 3,000- 2-3 times a year until they start sticking around. This has been very successful for me!

I will just add that ants love aphids so if you have a sudden infestation of aphids check very closely that they are not being helped by ants - it may help spot an ant problem before it gets out of hand

Borax and powder suger works really well. you mix a little poweder sugar with the borax, then the ants take it home and feed it to the queen. Good Bye ants! Also ants do not like cinnamon.

string them upside down as soft chimes? If their too soft, add small bells.

But....SAVE all those small chunks of wax. I have a very cool fire starter project that uses leftover wax. Just trying to find the rest of the pictures!

Pinwheels! Cut down the sides and twist them slightly so they catch the wind. Ptt a small hole through the middle and mount on sticks or (???) They would be beautiful spinning in the sun! And, they would be great to keep birds away from fruit tree's and freshly planted seed, just spinning away... (I want some! haha)

You could also put them on sticks and cut them to look like flowers, even put a few together inside the other to make extra petals... ::Runs home to start burning more tealights::

You could turn them into board game pieces, jewelry, paper weights, or stamp-bases, that's what I have done with them in the past.

you can......go making refills and carve some message to it (it should be plain white color) and send this gift to your friends! also do not forget to send this gift with a bottle of paint (her or his favourite color) and write in a piece of paper " paint the top part of this candle! "
SURPRISE!!! it's a great gift and also can be used!!

You could have a go at making your refills - there's probably a tutorial on here or there's one here http://www.queenofdiy.com/candle-making/tools-of-the-trade.html

    Lol.
I had my Mirena taken out a while ago and just this month things started getting more normal. So I'll finally get to try my sponges in a couple weeks (it's been to light otherwise).
I usually make it a point to eat beef or beans of some sort when I'm on my lady time... they sure do help. Plus I can't argue against a good local steak! lol

I would like to input that when I have my period, I make beans. The iron is great for blood loss. Monika, this could be good for you since you had said the Mirena was giving you two periods a month. The seasonique.. instead of 4 periods a year it just gave me a period.. all the time! so ya. Have you ever tried Cherokee Hair Tampons? They are super absorbent and make a great toy for Fido..... LOL South Park!

ohhh, I like it. :) And its around my price range - with the exchange rate :)

I have decided against getting a bike. London traffic is horrible and I am scard to death about bike riding around here. Maybe one day I will get the guts.

If you have matching ones, you can always make some earrings. And they actually look pretty cute. Otherwise, I have no idea what else you can do. lol
