I had like a year or classes, and then taught myself since then. I'm pretty good if I do say so myself :D
But I think the best way to learn is to buy a learners book. They shouldnt be more than like $10. Or if you look really hard on the internet you might find one.
Then when you have your piano/keyboard lay down masking tape across the keys(from middle C go up until you hit the next C and then, from middle C go down until you hit the next C) then write the letter of each note on them. That way when your learning the notes you wont have to keep guessing. If you get an easy music book, with songs for begginers in it, it also helps to write the letter of the notes in the book above the note on the page (if it doesnt already have it)
Alllllso if you have a ipod touch or smart phone with a touch screen you can often get apps for learning/practicing piano
I hope that helps, besides learning the notes and placement, if you already know some of the instraments then the time and rythm should come easy.

Hey everybody!
I realllly want to learn to crochet, but all the books I've found in my local stores are too expensive for me right now. I'll buy one eventually, lol, just cant this month. So I was wondering if me fellow crafters could help me out :D
Do you know of any awesome websites that can teach me a few basic projects (with lots of photos/videos) ???
I really want to make some grociery totes made from plarn. I've already started making my plarn, so that when I finally learn to crochet well enough, I can make some :D

When I cant think of anything cool to make, I endlessly wander around etsy! I look up themes I like or styles. I make and sell jewelry on there, so sometimes I look up type of jewelry I make, to see what other people are making. I also love things made out of felt, like broches/pins, plushies stuff like that, so I'll search things along those lines. Also another great thing to do it go to a big bookstore, like Boarders or Barnes and Noble and check out thier crafty magazines, I usually get a coffee from thier cafe and flip through the mags. I might even buy one, lol. Depends on the budget, some times I can only afford the coffee! :D

How to get rid of mildew smell from car?

I live in Hawaii, so my car gets some pretty funky mildew and ocean/fishy smells. Also I take my dog on long drives.
Anyway lol, I clean out my car and vacuum everything, then sprinkle baking soda/bicarbonate of soda all over, on the seats and rub into the carpets. Then crack the windows like an inch (3cm) over night (on a night it isnt going to rain, lol) then the next day vacuum it all up!
That usually does the trick for me for a good long while! Hope that helps you out a little bit :D
