It wouldn't have to be changing a post. It could be a challenge to make something similar to what someone has already made... or a challenge to work with a similar material.

Project challenge...hehehe

Please just stick to the topics that are already going. It's not been uncommon in the past for threads to get over 20 pages. If you want to start a challenge thread, don't copy an ongoing one; start a unique one.

Tutorial challenge!

I don't know if this has been done before but I thought it would be fun to start a tutorial challenge!
Basically what you'll do is look at the projects created by the person who posted above you. Make a suggestion for a tutorial based on any item they have made (avoid asking for tutorials about VERSION projects though as a tut has likely already been made).
That person can choose to accept the challenge, or decline if they used an outside source for a tutorial, in which case they should supply a link to the tutorial they used. If a new tutorial is made, the link should be posted in that person's comment where they accepted the challenge. Try to post at least a couple pictures illustrating your technique!
EXAMPLE:
-I post-
-Someone challenges me-
-I edit my post to accept the challenge, then edit it again when the challenge is completed.-
-A new poster challenges the person who challenged me, and so on!-
So... Challenge me! :)

What Can I Make With Spoons?

Bracelets, pendants... pretty much any piece of jewelry.
If you have a metal stamping kit, you can stamp words into them.

Oatmeal Canister Challenge
Started over 2 years ago · Last post over 2 years ago ·
My parents eat a lot of oatmeal, so we have the same issue. My mom and I are huge seamstress/crafters, so we started using them for storing buttons, paint brushes, and other things we have tons of.
You can use an oatmeal container for almost anything. Entertain cats and kittens by dangling toys inside of them, and they can roll around with a toy without getting fur on the carpet... but that's only useful if you have cats.
Store pasta in them and confuse people when they try to make an oaty breakfast.
Right now, I'm using one as a necklace/choker display as well as button storage. If you're eager enough to cover yours and poke holes in them, they could be used for earrings and the like.

The whole thing is finished now, so this is just the outline. The actual thing is life-sized.
