I opened Hayley's package, here's what I got:
She used my stash to make- chocolate bar earings, a mushroom bracelet, a draw-string bag with a cute mushroom charm, a kawaii mushroom and a pin cushion. Thanks Hayley. My flatmates will especially thank you for the pin-cushion as I've been needing one for ages. I'll no longer need to push my pins into the sofa arm to get lost. Yay!

Size of Swap: According to Pamela's guidelines this would be a small swap as it was 3 handmade items, but I actually think its more med sized as it was 1 large item and 2 smaller ones (my large item was a notebook cover if that helps). I'm planning on posting what I sent on the love another board so you can get a better idea.

Swap: Love for another swap
Issue: For this swap we weren't sending to each other but to a friend each of us nominated. I sent out on the 22nd dec but haven't heard if her friend Megan received. I asked my friend to let me know if she recieved anything but she hasn't so far. I put a lot of thought and time into crafting for this swap (and it was expensive to post) and I'm disapointed that my friend hasn't had anything in return.

You're welcome Mary. I thought you deserved a surprise. And I can't believe how quick that arrived- I posted that on FRIDAY! Glad your bf liked the postcards, although I hope he lets you keep 1 or 2 or them.
I got an envelope template for xmas (its basically a wooden board in the shape of a flattened out envelope). I've been making envelopes out of EVERYTHING, although it needs a4 sized paper and I got rid of a lot of my magazines when I moved, so have limited options; cue the amnesty international magazine getting utilised.
If you wanted to make one you could dismantle the envelope I sent you (or any envelope) and draw round it on a piece of card and use that as a template. All you would need to do to put your envelopes together would be to fold the little side flaps in and glue them to the back section. Put in your letter then fold down the top and tape it up.

I also got wadding (I wasn't sure if that was just packaging or included as a craft supply- either way I'll definitely make use of it or a pin cushion or plushie)and a story written by Hayley. Which was really fun! No-ones send me a story before!

My stash from Hayley arrived too.
She is so much better at picking stuff that matches than I am. And doesn't just go crazy and stuff any old thing in the envelope.
If you can't find a use for the postcards, you can just keep them as I have a box-full.
That yellow poker chip was a token I got from the hair-dressers. I thought it was quite a cool way of handing out tokens, that I was determined to find a use for it. I stuck a sticker with a 10 on it to make it look more like a poker chip, (on the side thats not showing in the photo). Unlike the green one it doesn't have a hole in it to use as a charm but I thought you could glue it to something. Again if you can't find a use for it you can keep it.

I'm glad it arrived Hayley. I know its a bit mismatched I got carried away when I was deciding what to send. I'm afraid I do sometimes send stuff that I don't really know what to do with, because other people have different ideas and a different take on things and might come up with something I may never have thought of.

Mine arrived as well Jolanda. The envelope had a rip in it but the chocolate was still there- Yay! Looks like an interesting recipe.
On another note are we all still waiting on 2 more recipes? What do people think, should we ask for 2 angels on the incomplete swap board or just leave it as it is?

I think Heather must be having problems, as she's normally such a good swapper. I PMed her a couple of weeks back and haven't heard anything. I have the bracelet swap and chunky recipe swap outstanding with her. I've sent my items but not recieved.
