Oh I think, like how on a how to you have the option up at the top to say if you had a how to from another website, or got it from a book, even if she chooses one of the options when you publish it, it doesn't actually get that part published, that happens to me most of the time. Is that right, Chelsea?

Favourite Cartoon From Your Childhood/Now!
Started over 1 year ago · Last post 3 months ago ·
When I was little I liked Fosters Home for imaginary friends, Billy and Mandy, and I liked Kenen and Kel, but my parents didn't let me watch it. OH and Johnny Bravo!! Rocko's Modern Life, ANGRY BEAVERS!! And Gem, of course!!
Now I watch the same things, but they are almost never on!! Adventure Time, Metalocolyps (GO PAMELA! )King of the hill, space ghost, The Tick, futurama, Alf (almost never on, but hey-), Bevis and Butthead, And Flapjack!! I loved Flap jack! Big Bang Theory, The office, and a bunch of other stupid shows. I never really watched rugrats, for some reason it was frowned upon in my house, mostly I think because my sister was afraid of it, and she didn't like when she was little that the family was Christan and Jewish, she was weird kid. So we never really watched it. I did like reptar though. :)

Dr Who, begginers help :S
Started 10 months ago · Last post 10 months ago ·
Well, I like Matt Smith as the doctor (current doctor) more then David, and I really do not care for the episodes with him in them although I enjoy him as an actor greatly. If you do not mind David you can start with his episodes. You can start when he starts or go a few episodes back before Matt Smith starts, I feel like kind of since all of the episodes begin a new adventure, if they are not a two part, they are fairly easy to catch on to. You just want to watch the current seasons when they come back on, and catch up? So really if you start when David regenerates (I am pretty sure that is the word they use) into Matt you should be A-okay, I don't think you really need to start with David, unless you want to. I think you will be able to pick it up quickly, you seem super smart :)
But yeah, I recommend the beginning of Matt, but you can start with David if you like :) And all the episodes with my cable are David, and the same four or five episodes of him :P They don't do a good job keeping track of what they do and don't air, but I sure hope I helped!! I LOVE doctor who!! I am also just so disappointing that the companions are gonna change so soon!!

Any archers on the site?
Started 10 months ago · Last post 10 months ago ·
Uhm, yes! I have been doing it about 6 years, with my dad's various old bows. I stopped because I get terrible bruises up my arms even when I use full arm guards, but I have been wanting to start again really badly!! About a year ago I was going to take a class, but m dad obsessively bugged me like I was the son he never had, so I skipped it but was thinking about joining again. I don't have any pictures but my friend wants me to teach her how, so I will probably be at the range in the next month or so, and I will probably have pictures then ") I am so exited to see who else enjoys archery, as I think it is definitely one of the best sports you can "play" :) And you have a super nice bow!! The bows my dad has are low quality, so I need to save up for my own ")

You guys are always so helpful!!! I am not sure if skinny pants are aloud, I have to ask somebody. I also need some cardigans like the cute picknick sweater. I forgot to mention no logos are aloud, even the teeny american eagle one, they are really harsh about that. And I love the bracelet idea, I think I have the perfect metal strips actually :) Super exited!! A big thank you to you two! Did I just rhyme? :)

Cute things I can actually wear to school??
Started 11 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
Hi everybody! So in the fall I have to go to a new charter school and they are super strict about the dress code. I honestly usually wear hippy clothes, and that is really a no-go there. I have pretty much no money, so the clothes have to be affordable. And I don't have any clothes now that I can actually use, since they are in some way or another against the dress code. The rules (the important ones I am actually worried about) are the following: No denim, you can only wear clothes of the following colors: grey, maroon, light pink, light blue, navy, and white. No patterns on tops or bottoms, Pants have to be past knee cap, as for skirts the same, one bracelet on each arm only. There are TONS more, but those are what I am concerned about So my question is, where can I buy cute pants and tops that can fit the system and where can a get a multiple strand bracelet but with only one clasp? For shirts most of the girls wear polos is what it looks like, but I can barely stand polos, I am super uncomfortable in them. Do you have any ideas or tips on where I can get cute and affordable tops (mostly) and bottoms that are regular places? I looked in Macys, and I like what they have, but a cute white button up top in like 30 dollars!! So yeah, any ideas are really appreciated!

Help with Costume

If you went to a thrift store you might be able to find a blonde or white wig you could cut and dye. If dying I recomend using the blue SPLAT hair color, I have heard good stuff about that brand.

How long is an electric razor suppose to work?
Started 11 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
So, I have only ever had 2 razors. Both electric, I haven't been shaving that long. But any ways, I have had the razor I am using now for probably about 6 and a half months, a little before Christmas. It is starting to do what the last one did which was grab in skin and bite it which is really painful. It does it every five to ten seconds and leaves streaks and bumps of irritated skin. I keep them clean and charged and with fresh batteries but they always do that anyways. Even when I change the actual razor inside it still does it!! So anyways, I was wondering if they usually do this or if something is wrong, like I am not taking care of them right. Or is there anything I can do to fix this? It's not that hard to buy a new razor and everything, but if money doesn't have to be spent it is better. So thank you in advance, I really appreciate all the answers :) And by the way I think the brands where remington, and, darn it just had it. A different brand, if that matters- So yeah, thank you in advance, you guys always know what to do :)
Oh, and don't know if this is the right section, sorry-

Hmm. You could do a garland all the way around the ceiling. Or have colored frames with lots of pictures. Like a picture frame explosion. If you get posterboard and cut them into cool animal shapes and decopage them it could come out really cool!

How to get sticky label off of steel coffee can?
Started 11 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
I am doing a project with a steel coffee can And I can't get the last bits of label off!! I can't use water because I don't want it to rust. I have tried nail polish remover which got the sticky parts off that where not covered by label and windex, which I read online would help but did not. I can't think of anything to really cover it up with. So if anybody has any ideas, they are much appreciated :)

How to fix up this doll?
Started 11 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
There a lot of tutorials online to fix doll hair that might help you, I don't have one on hand though. I would start by seeing if you can take off and re-put on her clothes, if so wash them. Generally was the stains off of her, lightly with just water, soap if needed. Is her neck broken? I can't tell. If so, glue easily and paint over when done. If she has chips you might be able to use thin bits of clay to cover them. You also may want to reapaint on her eyes and brighten up her lips and eyebrow. Not an expert or anything, but this is what I would do, hope it helped :)

Sick and bored :(
Started 11 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
I suggest making a wreath. That is what I have been doing. I got a willow branch wreath from the dollar store I have been using and am making a beach theme wreath for summer. But not "I'm a little kid runnin round the beach with my plastic trowel" more like "I'm a poor college student living in an apartment and I need people to think I am sophisticated with cool colored decor". I talk to much :) Um. Also, if you cover a pool noodle nicely with things such as fabric and ribbon it works out well as a wreath. You can also paint your nails really cool. I am painting my nails white and then I painted clear scotch tape with nail polish. Once everything is dry it is cool if you cut the painted tap into cool shapes and use it as a nail decal with a top coat so it doesn't come off :) If you have a bead loom, it's really fun to make bracelets in cool ways, like rainbow, piano, pacman etc. There are a ton more things. Shape drawing (draw a shape and add on to it) Using clay (you can make clay with cat litter, bread or paper:) jewelery making (earrings are pretty easy) and stuff like that. If you like I can also suggest books, movies, music and TV shows :) Pretty much what ever. AND I am sure if you have special interests (sewing, cooking ect) I have links for you. I always have links. :) Hopeful that I helped :)

Gifts for my 11yr old brother?
Started 11 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
Um. Maybe you could take him somewhere cool? That is also free? If your parents agree to it, and you have like 5 or 6 dollars, buy him a fish maybe? Or several? That would be cool. Homemade. One time, at band camp, wait no. One time in fifth grade we had secret santa and I got a boy and of course we where 11 and he also loved video games. I drew him a sweet picture of Darth Vader, and gave him some stickers, and an action figure and food. Well that doesn't help you at all.
Okay, nity gritty.
-- Draw him something he would like. I suggest pop-art. I know of a program if you want it (on a website) where I think you give them a picture and it prints it out a paint by number for slobs like me. It should still be in my bookmarks :)
-- You could make a secret safe, say out of a book, or a large plastic dinosaur etc and put something cool in it.
-- Food gifts. Those go down well.
-- T-shirts?? With funny things. If he has found memes (maybe secretly show him memes) Then you could make shirts based off that.
-- You could engrave dog tags, I think that would be cool, if you think he would like them
It is hard to think of ideas, so I hope links are okay:

Gifts for little boys?
Started 11 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
Okay. So. I have a neighbor, who will be 4 in July. He is so sweet!!! And since I have nothing better to do, I always take him to parks, or we take pictures together (his camera doesn't work, but he thinks it does) or I teach him new things. One time he told his mom (Her name is Kathy, and she really appreciates that I baby sit his most of the time :P) that I was his best friend. I thought that was pretty cute. But anyways, I wanted to give him something for his birthday, cause he's a good kid. But I don't have any money. I have 6 dollars, and I need to buy my mother's birthday gift with that, or at least part of that gift. I doubt I will get money before his birthday, so if anything I can get him dollar store gifts, like last year. I was wondering if anybody had any homemade gift ideas for him. And do you think that his mom and grandparents (general care givers) will feel weird if I make something? They know that I generally make things, I make all the girls jewelery all the time. But I am worried they would think that was weird. I give him my old toys all the time, If I think he would like them, and they don't care. But I am worried they would think it's weird, and inpolite or something. How would you feel?? (Were all poor, by the way, we aren't like uber rich and buy everything everybody wants) So far my ideas where A) to build a toy car racer, but I haven't ever built anything ever, and I would have to make it smaller, like 2 feet or so, and that might make it not as fun B) One of those bug kits, you can get them at the dollar store, but I bet I could make one c) a few dollar store things if all else fails
But probably not something big, since we all live in small spaces and stuff, and something he will like.
Thanks you in advance for any answers, I really appreciate it. Everybody on here has awesome ideas!

How to delete projects/change name?
Started 11 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
As far as I know, you can't change the name, I've tried. But to delete go up onto your bar, by notifications you have projects, go there. There will be your projects, and by each you have options like edit and delete. I don't think edit lets you change the name, but I am not sure. Hope I helped :)

Questions about etsy :)
Started 11 months ago · Last post 10 months ago ·
I don't have one, so I answer from guesses and experience
Really anything you have made. I have seen jewelery, wall decals, plushies, lawn gnomes made of cement and even homemade food good- ANYTHING you think people want to buy and you want to make
You make things, but I think if you put on your profile thingy that you want to costume make things and negotiate prices you can. Not sure though.
In my experience (but it doesn't seem the same for others) the crafters want to make lots of money by saying it is their art. It is but they shouldn't get away with that. Usually if I would try to sell something, I would first take how much it took to make it, add 15-40 % depending on difficulty and how long it took to make the object. BUT you also have to think about how much your item is generally sold for.
I made it for 3 dollars
It is normally sold for 12 dollars
It had medium difficulty and didn't take too long
Sell it for 9-15 dollars depending on how much people would want to buy it for-
This is just how I do it- I don't have an etsy, just in general. That is the guide I follow-
I hope I helped, any more questions, I can try my best to help

gift ideas for my soon to be 4 year old!
Started 11 months ago · Last post 10 months ago ·
OOOH! Lucky, at least you get a girl. My neighbor is gonna be 4 in july, He's a great kid but he is hard to make gifts for, and I almost never have any money. Usually I have to go to the dollar store, but back to your question:
Colored bubbles: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/colour-bubbles
Make her a similar tiara to this: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/blow-your-own-trumpet-tiara (((( I recommend, if doing this, that you make a princess kit, with a dress, wand, crowns, ect. ))))
Rainbow crayon : http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/rainbow_crayon_2 If you do this you could also make a coloring book by printing out black and white pictures
You could make her a chef set, to go with the teaset. Make a hat, apron and felt food along with some of your old cooking utensils (no link, just an idea)
Here you can make a toaster, to do whatever with: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/free-tutorial-diy-felt-toast
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/felt-toy-pattern-doll-house That is for a doll house, which you could do with felt covered card stock/board
There is a lot of ways to make dolls, if you make one, maybe make some clothes to go along with?
Nina the rag doll tutorial and pattern: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/nina-the-rag-doll
This is a treasure. DIY dress up station out of an entertainment center
Another out of an entertainment center: play kitchen! http://easypeasypie.blogspot.com/2011/02/play-kitchen.html AND another variation http://betterafter.blogspot.com/2011/03/winner-and-hot-pink-and-zebras.html That one is more pink, and whatnot.
Dancing rings: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/dancing-ribbon-rings
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/ispy-sensory-jar I spy jar
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/stained_glass_kaleidoscope Kaleidoscope with stained glass
And that is all I could find. Most of the things are small, but fun. When I was little, my parents got me like 12 or 15 tiny gifts, and made a scavenger hunt for each gift, and that was really cool. But anywas, I hope I helped, and if you have any ideas for a 4 year boy, shoot em my way :)
