wow the one Birgit posted looks exactly like it :O It looks like the only difference is that instead of a third ball chain the original used two and a braided strand

Working Too Hard?
Started 12 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
My sister is the same way, she'd study for a test for hours and still stress out. I'm only recently became more responsible :P grades came easy to me when I was younger so I got lazy and when effort was needed to keep them up.. I procrastinated and let A's slide to B's and C's.
I have general anxiety so I think I can lend some helpful info on the subject... STOP STRESSING! lol Take deep breathes, ask your self "What's going on right now? Am I ok? Is the world going to end if I don't get this one thing done perfectly?" in short - get some perspective. You seem very responsible, bright and creative.. I wouldn't worry so much about being perfect and learn to trust yourself. So long as you're confident in what you do and how you do it there is no need to quadruple check or spend an obscene amount of time on something. And know that even if you were to mess up ITS OK! You learn from it, let it go, don't let it drag you down.

I'm about to throw my love life on you guys but i gotta vent somewhere...
Started 12 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
Personally, I'm an all or nothing kind of person... It hardly ever works to have a "date casually" thing for an extended period of time because someone always gets hurt (not necessarily scared for life but hurt all the same). Another con I've seen is that if a person wants to be with someone but doesn't want a relationship (without being a scum bag) they're usually using that person as a crutch to mask some other problem. So if you're not going to date this guy because his issues are too much of a problem I'd recommend walking away...
Getting to the issue, porn addiction can be a real problem... I completely understand why you'd have a problem with it. Most guys watch it and everyone has a right to their own private sexual preferences, activities, etc... The issue comes when it's something that becomes a compulsion, something they not just hide but lie about and would rather watch the fantasy then experience the reality. If he's not that over the edge then I think it's something he and you can work on if you both find it worth it, but if it's not the saying is totally true - you can't change a guy.. he has to want to change.
If the issue of commitment comes up be straight with him. Tell him how you feel and your concerns so you both are aware of what you're getting yourselves into or what you're choosing to walk away from.
hope that helps :)

Studded Leggings?

I'd wear them with a really chunky heel, maybe a loose fitted tunic top
or a cool dress like this
and a trashed jean, light wash jacket

How to accesorize a damask print dress?
Started 12 months ago · Last post 12 months ago ·
I'm with Pamela
You'll need to break up the print with some bright, large accessories
Go for eye-catching blues or pinks... if you're a little shy of wearing something so bold then go for gem tones which is colorful without being so bright
Just remember to balance every thing, like... if you're going to wear statement earrings go minimal or without a necklace (and vice versa), or if you put on a large cocktail ring don't wear heavy bangles on that same wrist.

What weird things do you find attractive?
Started about 2 years ago · Last post 10 months ago ·
I don't like pretty boys, I'm into the tough "Indiana Jones" -esque kinda men.
My boyfriend has naturally broad, built shoulders which I love.. also a strong jaw and great butt XD. Mmmm and not that I particularly love a guys adams apple or anything but I love my boyfriends :P I guess that's weird...

Graduation Presents?
Started 12 months ago · Last post 12 months ago ·
My sister made me a really awesome money lei to wear while I graduated. She used our school colors for the ribbon and $1 bills accordion folded into flowers. It's a cool way to give money for a side gift if you're looking for something outta the ordinary.

Started 12 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
I've had the following problems:
When I'm looking at the latest projects, after I click one and then go back none of the other projects are clickable. Refreshing the page doesn't work, I have to re-click the projects page and load from the beginning.
I'll be looking in a certain project section and when I scroll down it'll show the recently added projects
Also, I'm working on posting a project and every time I try to preview it it goes to a "forbidden" page

How can I modify this t-shirt?!
Started 12 months ago · Last post 12 months ago ·
My go-to t-shirt mod is a cute halter.
Cut the back straight under the sleeves and in the front cut at an angle from under the sleeves straight to the neck then cut the collar straight across. Hem all the way around, double fold the neckline to make a space for a string to go through and pleat the back to gather any excess fabric. Use the scrap t-shirt to cut strips and pull to make long and neat in order to make the string/tie.
I'll try to get a pic up so you can see how it looks.

Keep Scraps or Scrap Them?
Started 12 months ago · Last post 6 months ago ·
Whether or not I keep scraps depends on how much is left over. Make sure they're a practical size, something you can really do something with again. Fold them neatly so you can stack them in a compact space or box. If they're just tiny, misshaped remnants I'd say toss 'em and save yourself the space.

Hmmm... Check the baking aisle for root beer extract and maybe add that with sugar and club soda? If you can't find anything maybe Dr. Pepper would work as a substitute :P

You don't have to use layers they're really just their for your benefit. You can work on different sections of your drawings or photos without affecting the others, make copies and add effects.

If you're a student you can sign up for a discount with adobe so long as you have proof of registration or photo id.
I've really enjoy photo shop and have spent the last 7 or 8 years learning new ways to use it. The best advice I have is just to try EVERYTHING. Figure out what each button does, look at tutorials (deviant art has some great ones) and if you can try to find another class in the future. Adobe even makes really handy books on PS CS basics.... It isn't too difficult to learn there is just so many things to do it can take a while :P
When I started I got a wacom tablet... it was a little expensive for me but since then the price has gone down quite a bit. You can even get tablets that are basically a touch screen monitor so you can work directly on your piece. When I bought my laptop I invested in an HP TM2 tablet laptop that I have been very pleased with. If it's out of your price range a tablet isn't entirely necessary but they are extremely handy to have.
GL with your fashion school :)hope to see some of your work in the future

Do you charge for time?
Started 12 months ago · Last post 12 months ago ·
I guess that makes sense... I think I'd feel guilty for charging for things I knew took not much effort but you're right, if it takes a real set of skill to make a quality piece then including time to the price would be fair.

Root beer/Ginger ale?
Started 12 months ago · Last post 12 months ago ·
I don't like root beer any more except for a root beer float maybe once a year. I love ginger ale but only seem to have it when I'm sick...
anyways have you ever tried Cock N Bull Ginger Beer? It's a ginger ale/root beer mix you can get at the grocery store (at least here in Cali). It's very authentic flavored so its actually a little hard to drink do to it's intense taste but I bet it would taste good in a butter beer malt. :)

Cosplayers?
Started over 3 years ago · Last post 10 months ago ·
It's prolly the dorkiest thing I've ever done but I've been to Fanime and one or two local conventions in town but I haven't gone in years. When I went I mostly used what I had on hand like my real private school uniform with the skirt and socks and stuff :P
I'm a little sad I only started sewing after I stopped really going cause I could make some kick ass costumes now :D
I like cosplays that are accurate to the characters but ones adapted to realistic clothing. The ones that try to capture all the impossible cartoon aspects just look silly to me...

Does anyone know how to do this?
Started 12 months ago · Last post 11 months ago ·
To get a vibrant color (especially with dark hair) you'll need to bleach your whole head. Color the top, leaving the end pieces blond and then once done (ie, colored, washed, dried) go back and do the tips with the second color.
At least that's how I'd do it :S

Do you charge for time?
Started 12 months ago · Last post 12 months ago ·
Whenever people have asked me to make things I just tell them to pay for the cost of the material. It's a win-win situation, they get a great handmade item and I get to do a project cost free. The only time I would ask for a little more if it is extremely labor intensive but everybody works at a different pace so I don't think its fair to charge for time as well as the item itself.

Last Minute Ideas!
Started about 1 year ago · Last post 10 months ago ·
So I'm graduating College tomorrow (yay!) and apparently its a thing to decorate your cap?
I had no idea!
I went to a private all girls school so when I graduated High School we didn't wear cap and gowns we wore white formal dresses(aka wedding dresses.
I graduate tomorrow night, anybody have any ideas how I should decorate my cap?
