You know them. Random items you bought because you had an amazing ideas but then forgot... Odd amounts of fabric left over from projects... or perhaps just recycled bits of cardboards and tee-shirts you just don't know what to use for.
This challenge is for you.
Look at the post above you, and challenge them to turn that item into something. (For example, turning their scrap cork into wall decor.) And then ask for a challenge with your own odd bits, describing them and/or posting a picture, and then person below you will come up with a challenge for you and post an item of their own... and so the thread will continue.
To start with, I have these foam doorhangers with the tops shaped like hearts... I don't really need doorhangers, so what shall I turn them into? They're roughly 10x3" (25x8cm).
Post a challenge and an item of your own and we'll be off ^_^
Three there, and also for laptops, iPods, etc.
Umhh.. Huhh... Anyone got a pattern for a teddy bear? The old fashion kind, dark brown body with little circles on the front of his paws.. Oh, something like this
Yeah, still working on the hat w/ beard. I can't find anything, Nikki's idea seems to be best. Crochet a hat with ear flaps, put buttons inside the ear flaps, crochet a beard and cut button-holes into it...
Um, not sure who you were replying to? I didn't ask for something since I couldn't find a anatomically correct felt heart, and you're suppose to post a pattern for whatever the previous person asked for which is still technically an anatomically correct felt heart..
But, well, anyways..
Best I could find, all tunics are for women apparently..
Incredibly squirmy on this topic, but, I looked..
No pattern, but it is a pretty big and almost entirely correct heart!
Again, no pattern, but this one is entirely felt..
Wow, I'm sorry. I can't find any tutorials or patterns for felt, only crochet or knitting. I hope someone else can find you one..
Thanks Nikki! That site is awesome, how have I never seen it before?!
No worries, you might think of something eventually :P I'm kind of out of ideas at the moment too. Too busy making Christmas presents to bother with anything else right now, and I've already got most of the patterns for my gifts..
First one is free but not so normal. Second one... Not so free. But more of a normal squirrel.
Agh. I have nothing I need or want at the moment. Umm.. Oh, how about a pattern for anything Gir related that's not on this site? (Gir, from invader zim.)
Oh. Not really a pattern but thanks anyways.
Wow, cat ear patterns are really hard to find; most tutorials just say to sketch your own. Twenty minutes later all I could find is this: http://sakutarugirly.deviantart.com/art/Cat-ear-pattern-outside-260980897
Hmm.. I'd like a.... Umm.. Oh! I'd like a pumpkin plushie pattern. Something that has a stem and a flat bottom like real pumpkins would be great :)
I'd like a pattern for Finn the Humans backpack. Or any two-tone ovally-ish backpack really. Just no knitting or crochet please =)
