Strange phone numbers/phone calls

I know what you mean Rachie, I used to work at a call center for different accounts in one building. The last one before I finally quit was T-mobile. So I fully understand "You get what you give."
Though we weren't allowed to be rude to customers of course.
I too get crazy numbers calling me, even the 000-000-0000. I have since put those numbers on a restrict list, a cool feature my cell has, and yet they keep calling. I have answered to find that they are someone trying to sell me something or telling that I've won something, yeah right. I do politely tell them I'm not interested, say good-bye and hang up. And I do that because they continue to keep trying to pitch whatever it is they are trying to sell or give me, even after I have said at least twice that
"I'm not interested". How many ways or TIMES do I have to say it. Yeah ok, I understand that they may have to meet a quota or something to get paid, but no means no, you're not gonna make your money here so stop wasting your time and mine and move on to the next call. So in a way I save them the trouble of the time wasting part.
But yeah, unfortunately your number, be it landline or cell, gets put into the system where it's available for telemarketers to get it, which I thought was illegal.
And yeah, I agree that you would think that they would get the hint after the first 50 times they call, and you don't answer that they would give up. I have this one number that calls me multiple times in one day, it's now on my restrict list, it comes through but my phone doesn't ring, but till comes up as a missed call. I have called it back when it was an actual missed call before it got added to my list to see what it's about and all I got was a recording.

Micro Beads?

Ok wait, do you actually mean micro beads or seed beads because there is a difference. Micro beads are really tiny with no holes, and is pretty much used like glitter. Seed beads are slightly bigger but still small beads with holes, but they still come in different sizes. The only kind of beads I seen from Martha Stewart are the micro beads, but who knows what all that woman has out for sell. LOL Personally I haven't seen any in local stores or craft stores for that matter. I plan to look again though. So the only place, so far, where I have seen them online for a reasonable price is ebay and possibly amazon. Haha, now I'm on the hunt for them too!

Haha, kookiegurl, first they are loads of fun!!! A swap is when a group of people participate to make crafts for someone else
Themed swaps, i.e. a swap that specifies a particular favorite movie, craft, item, etc., where you sign up to join. The host will provide the rules of the swap, also giving a time limit for people to join and then partnering all who has, including themselves. Partners will then contact each via message on the site to exchange addresses and possibly preferences as to what they would like to receive, fav color(s), other likes and/or dislikes. That is not mandatory, but it's fun to customize crafts for your partner. Most of the time, 5 to 7 items are good to make and send your partner unless the host specifies otherwise, which is also sometimes listed in the rules and guidelines. So everyone crafts something for their partner and send out by the date given. Most of us swap host aren't strict about sending out on the date, so it's not set in stone, just a guideline, but we do ask that if you will be late sending out, let your partner know and keep in contact until you have posted out. Once you get your goodies, you post on that you received it and if possible post a pic of what you got. Some of us take pics before sending, so if you can't put up a photo then your partner will
Now, to host a swap of your own, you can do anything you want in any theme you want but you don't necessarily have to have a theme. They are mostly for inspiration crafting, you set your own rules and you can let anybody join and you have the right to deny anybody to join. We only do this if the person joining is a known "flaker". (Someone who signs up for swaps but don't send out or go MIA). It's just not fun to be expecting to receive something, but don't especially when you have crafted for your partner and sent them something. So reneging on swaps is an absolute no-no!
There is a swap especially for newbies like yourself who has never done one, to get you a foot in the door on swapping and give you an idea on how they work. Most of us require now that you do this swap first before joining our swaps.

Haha! Ancient Chinese secret, but neither am I ancient nor Chinese so I will tell you the secret. Will post a how-to for it. I got the idea from a video on youtube for making a greeting card but I scaled mine down to an ATC. You'd be surprise how to make it and it's quite easy.
Anywho, glad you received them. Postage out of the US makes me a bit antsy with how long it takes to be delivered.

It also could be if the file is a big one. It's probably actually loading but because of the size, it will take longer. So if the file is like in MB (megabyts) size, try making it smaller.

I checked a couple of my thread entries on the swap board but I'm no longer getting the option to edit the title of them or to delete it, not wanting to do that anyway. I need to edit one of them, but can't. Anybody else having this problem?

I'm sorry to hear about your baby, we lost our chihuahua baby King last weekend when the same thing happened. We were away at my husband's parent's house where we couldn't find him and he didn't come when we called. We were up until 1 in the morning looking for him. Brian, my husband found him the next morning, he was hit by a car. He was more than just a pet, he was one of the kids and we miss him so much. Hope you have better luck.

Hey SpookySweetie, partners are posted on the 22nd of every month, and the send out date is a week later but it's not set in stone. If you join my swap and for any reason you are not able to send out on the 29th, I just ask that you keep in contact with your partner until you do.
Ok, now that the 7 Deadly Sins series is done, the next round I want to include an interactive ATC. This card will need to feature some sort of component that the receiver can interact with. It could have a door that opens, gears that move, a flap that reveals a pop-up, a pocket that holds something, a spinner etc. Get creative! Make a quality piece, something that you would enjoy receiving. And because this one card may take more time to make, it will count as 2, so you will then only need to make an additional 7, but you can go ahead and send the mandatory 9 if you want. So let's have fun with this round.
