i actually make make-up for a living and it is really not that hard...
cream eyeshadow - all it is is a cream base (basic oil and water base) mixed with the pigments you want for the colour SIMPLE!
try out using some eyecream mixed with a couple of powder eyeshadows that you no longer use.
thats an easy place to start anyway
