Would anyone be interested in doing a personal Valentine's day swap with me?
I know the timing might be a bit short, but that's alright. I don't mind if the package is a bit late. I just really love this day! :)
It wouldn't consist of anything too fancy. Just a handmade card, some candy, and maybe a little accessory of some sort.

I've never made a bikini before, but I have this sparkly pink, stretchy fabric that I want to use to try and make a bandeau bikini out of.
I searched CO+K and Youtube, but only found clubwear bow bandeaus and T-shirt triangle bikinis.
Please help, I need an easy to follow bandeau bikini tutorial.

I have only done two swaps and I'm still in the process of finshing the Newbie vs. Vet Swap (there was a bit of a mix up with customs.)
But, I was wondering if anyone would actually join a Sanrio Swap.
How it works: After getting paired up; you would send your swap partner a message with the name or a picture of your favorite Sanrio character and vice versa. Then just create 3 to 5 items related to that character and send it off!
Also, I feel too new to this whole swap thing to be hosting one, so I figured I'd ask one of you lovely vets to host it for me; if you're intrested, of course!
Let me know your thoughts on this please and thank you!

I've got "magazine craft fever!"
I have a ton of old fashion magazines that I just can't bring myself to throw away.
So lately, I have been trying to figure out what kind of useful crafts I can upcycle them into. So far I've only made a bowl which I'm using as a candy dish (I have a major sweet tooth and have candy everywhere) and I'm working on a box right now. =)

Well, you are only thirteen.
I think they are just trying to protect you.
The older you get, the more lenient they will become (atleast, that's how it went with my mom.)
There should be nothing wrong with being able to go and hangout with a friend during the week days, though.
Have you tried to make a deal with them? Like if you get all your homework and house work done early, you can go out for a couple of hours...
As for being homeschooled, I wouldn't know anything about it, but if you hate it so much, you should sit down with them and have a serious conversation about it.

I use to have a pet rat that got a tumor on her bladder. Her name was Susie Q. I didn't know what to do either and I didn't want her to pass. She suffered so much, the poor thing. I just let her live with that thing inside of her because I didn't want to lose her. It was the cruelest thing I had ever done. Now I wish I had just put her down to make her pain stop. It's hard to let go, but sometimes its better than keeping them alive and in pain. I'm sorry that you're going through this, I know it's hard. Poor Macci.

I love going to the flea markets and finding all sorts of beautiful things.
I bought this cute bamboo windchime at our local Farmer's Market from my Mother's booth (I don't really consider it a farmer's market, because there were only two booths with fruits an veggies in the entire area!)
Anyway, I loved it so much that I thought I'd share it with all of you!

What I want to know is what inspires you to pick those wonderful pieces you do to complete your unique style.
I love fashion and what inspires me is modern glamour magazines, Marilyn Monroe, the 60's - 80's, the skate park, and well anything that catches my eye on the street.
