Hmm, it seems that even after trying again to publish (i tried again 5 or 6 days ago), I still have no luck
I've categorized the projects, added tags etc... and when I click publish there doesn't seem to be any problem at all they're just...not publishing (or so a little grey "Not publishing" sign says on my projects page)
I really have no idea what the reason could be, I've never experienced the problem before

actually, i hadnt checked the front page at all, only my own projects page which has a small grey bar saying "Not published" in the top right corner
thanks for the suggestion, i'll try again :) i wish i were making a fuss about more quality projects rather than these ones i whipped up in no time haha, but i'll need to know how to properly publish in future
ah, i do miss the old site.....but i digress, thank you pam :) its unsurprising that youre an admin, couldnt have picked anyone better

basically, its been ages since i published anything on this site because...well, i had nothing TO publish for a while...
so i thought "what the heck", made some stuff and decided to put it on....this was quite a while ago
I have clicked the publish button many times, and waited....I know that sometimes they take several days to appear, but this has been...over two weeks now i think
Im just a little concerned really....anyone else having the same problem? or is it just me doing something wrong with the new version of CO+K?

as a bit of an update, i thought id let everyone know that i finished all the blankets :) all 60!
theyre all being sold for £8 (about $12.80) which for all 60 earns me £480! (about $773!)
having been so busy making them, i neglected my other crafts and this site as well, but i really want to thank everyone for their very helpful replies and opinions :) i feel like ive made a real profit with all your help and avoided being taken advantage of.
also, the blankets as it turns out are going to a childrens home ^^ so hopefully there are some kids out there all snug with my blakets for the winter, and just that thought makes me feel good....but the money doesnt go amiss haha

one concern of mine was that i use a very small hook (4.50mm) so when crocheting blankets and such it takes me a while as i have very small, tight and careful stitching...the patter itself is simple - the base of the blanket just single crochet stitches with a triple crochet shell edging
i am normally rather busy in the week with college and family obligations but luckily the summer has freed me up from the former....

i recently got an offer from an old friend...in return for providing me with about 90 balls of wool, shes asked if i can make 60 pram/cot blankets (about 27" square) by december
i have yet to decide whether or not i'll take the offer (id like to), but need to see whether its practical time wise for me..
what my question is though, its...well...i wouldnt know what to charge her
shes offered £150 altogether (approx $235) and while that sounds like a lot of money for me, ive worked out that its only about £2.50 per blanket (approx $3.90)
...is that enough do you think? i wouldnt really know whats practical and i dont want to be swindled and get the short end of the stick
what do you guys think would be practical to charge her for 60 handcrocheted 27" blankets? bearing in mind the wool is provided..

i made a little one myself for a friend and you can see it right here on CO+K ...unfortunately i couldnt for the life of me make a pattern S: sorry...but what i CAN tell you is that it doesnt have to be anything complicated to be a penguin :) mine was basically just a ball i added arms feet and a face to...sorry i cant be much help but thought id try >.<

my boyfriend is big on giving me gifts :P but he knows me so well that whatever he gives me is personal and special....however, im terrible at buying gifts for people T_T seriously, very bad...
so i thought that since crochet is my best area of craft, i might make him something...but what? o.o any ideas or helpful suggestions? (anything but teddies :P hes not the teddy type).
any input is really appreciated, especially if patterns are included (but not necessary of course) ^_^

hmm ive always liked marvel comics but the shoes ive seen people make from them often end up messy or tacky...but im confident that youd be able to do them well :P your just that good
so my suggestion would be marvel comics but im sure what ever you come up with would be great anyway :D

erm ive been wondering about this also...im rather new and got a bit excited so i uploaded a load of projects yesterday but theyre still "awaiting approval"...ive seen other people say that it takes up to 24 hours but im worried :P can anyone put my worries at ease please?
