the grunge style is back as well - find it pretty stupid, no one 'grunge' walked around saying they were grunge and dressed a certain way on purpose.

I am really sick of all this 80s stuff thats come back in, it has horrible colours & patterns & no shape other than square shoulders
there's a lot of rockability stuff about too which is cool since I like a lot of it but when every shop is doing stuff that says 'rock n roll' and has skulls and eagles on and just has that rock chick look it puts me off, I don't know why I really don't care what other people are doing (despite the ranting) I guess it's just annoying that something I've been into for ages is now a fad in fashion.

haha that's ace!
I got some Swallow shaped earrings :) I love birdies and love watching Swallows speed around. Gonna get some little owl ones too later in the week, couldn't afford to spend any more money than I already had though.
got a cuff bangle thing too (£2 :) ), its all white and quite plain so gonna think about how to make it sparklier :)
I need to have a clear out of clothes and make like a capsule wardrobe, stuff i can mix and match with everything but create new things out of just whats in my wardrobe. I choose my own clothes yet after a while end up feeling too girly and just uncomfortable in what I'm wearing, I don't try to be anything but myself and only buy what I like, I know what I feel comfortable in, but then make the wrong choices. Does anyone else know what I mean!?

I'm really not into designers but Mischa Barton is soooo cool I love her bags:
http://www.mischabartonhandbags.com/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=45&seasonID=1&menu=spring&typeID=2
gonna get that one day! they're just perfect I've never found a bag that is just perfect
http://www.mischabartonhandbags.com/ProductDetails.aspx?menu=spring&productID=48&typeID=2&seasonID=1 like this one too but there's something about it that's too much for me, think its the gathering even though it gives it a lovely shape.

put foundation and powder on your eyelids like on your face then put eyeshadow over the top, might help to put a tiny 'dusting' of powder over the top of the eyeshadow but then that tones it down. When I put blusher on there's the foundation and powder underneath it and then I put powder over the top and it makes it stay longer - that's also handy to know if you put too much on by accident because putting powder over the top blends it in better then taking it off and starting over. Just seen the pics on your blog Courtney, you look so grown up!
I never take make up out with me if I'm going some where and never re-apply because I can't be bothered haha I put lipgloss on sometimes before I go out but don't bother redoing it later.
When I rub an eyelid by accident I go 'oh no!' and rub the other one the same amount to even it out haha

booo jealous! mine are really light though so I can get away with leaving them sometimes.
I have used mascara almost every day for about 4 years and my eyelashes are fine.
the only thing that makes it bad is if you don't remove it properly (that goes for all make up) and if you use the same mascara for longer than 3 months. Eyelashes have tiny micronisms (is that a word?) on them and when you put on mascara they go on the brush then in the tube. I would avoid using curlers with mascara as I knew someone whos eyelashes broke off because of curling!
It's best to buy a good brand, some have proteins and fancy crap in it too, also it works better when it's more expensive - doesn't clump. These ones that seperate each lash or add volume or both really work and you don't have to put much on for it to work, Maybelline or Bourjois, that kinda brand. If you think black looks too stark get brown. My whole look is based around my eyes, rock n roll glam! I think if you have loads on your eyes don't have as much on your lips, and the other way round too, but then everyone is different.I just think there's gotta be a balance or it looks cheap.
Use make up wipes to get it off, you can hold the wipes between your fingers and get hold of your lashes to take every bit of mascara off, they're much kinder to eyes then say baby lotion and cotton wool (OUCH!).
:o so this is what it feels like to have a little sister :)

omg a cookie you say!? when you post it says formatting help at the side, read that if you don't get what i put now - you put image tagsand the link to the picture in the middle, you get the link to the picture by setting up a photobucket account (free) and once you upload onto there you get the image link.
i was looking for the dress emma watson wore for the london premiere (i think) but i couldnt find the pic but i found this:
and that's my kinda thing, a 'normal' thing but made rockier with little bits like accessories and make up. Like yesterday i wore jeans and a cream vest top with pink details and roses on it but i rocked it up by wearing a scruffy black fabric waistcoat thing and pink pointy canvas flats :) I felt very comfortable, i need that mix of masculine and feminine. Watson could have done with a black choker a bit like what courtney posted with that outfit though.

Yeh that's like us :) We're just that kind of people. The worst thing about overreacting and shouting about everything is that it never gets solved that way, we might get angry or annoyed about something but it is always dicussed rather then shouted! There's never been any real issues to argue over anyway. For other people it always looks like its a tug of war in their relationship. Or one person is controlled by the other. That's just not a relationship!
I don't know if we will get married but we'll definatly be together for a long time :) aaaw group hug lol

I wouldnt get it tattooed...I've been surrounded by divorce! Obviously marraige is a vow and a promise but I really do think that you just don't know what will happen. I don't really like the way tattooed rings look either personally, i'd have a different tattoo somewhere else, I'd get a circle with little flowers and leaves around it or something to do with forever, but each to their own obviously!

i told him he doesn't have to propose with a ring, as i'd like to pick my own lol he knows what I like very much though, i felt really bad when I said I wanted to pick my own but hes not even proposed...yet...so lol at least he knows, it probably wont be very formal with the down on one knee thing either, which i don't mind. I think I'm going to be the one proposing lol!
I just dont want yellow gold and don't really want a diamond either!

I think I've mentioned before but I use Simple make up wipes. I don't know how I put up with cotton wool and baby lotion, I used that when I hardly wore make up though so didn't have to use it much. Wipes of any brand are good for all make up espeically mascara, but with liquid eyeliner its usually with a make up wipe and cotton ear bud. A lot of wipes now have different things in them and come in different ranges like moisturising, skin brightening or oil balancing.
Simple should give me a job!

ooo puurdy!
I want something antique or antique looking, silver or platinum, filigree and lots of sparkles but not too over the top; sometimes there can be a lot in small quantities or just lots and it still looks simple and classy. I don't think I'd want diamonds either I'd have sapphire, pink saphire or amyethst. I'd even go for the gem stone tigers eye if it looked right and if it was possible, my boyfriends eyes are like tigers eye :) I love celtic knots and things too.
infact if we do get married I'd have a bit of a celtic thing going on, I'd have a bouquet that looked like wild flowers, or I could even make it myself from real wild flowers lol no war paint of course

oops yeh i deleted my pics oh well lol
so anyway I bought bronzer! I bought it in 'light matte' so i wouldn't be a tangerine, but it doesnt seem to want to stick to my neck so I could see a difference in my face and my neck but hopefully only I could tell, I'll have to work on that! But it was nice to feel bright without being tangerine or using fake tan and sunbeds.

I can't remember what I used before handbags...nothing when I was like under 12, I mostly used like back packs and messenger bags but from 16 + I used totes and then handbags more as I got older. I'm a bag person, if I needed a pair of jeans but found a nice handbag I'd probably come back with the bag. I become girlier every year!

always mean to put a plastic bag in or a reusable bag but I always forget, and then I forget to say or don't say anything to the person on the till that I don't need a bag when they've just struggled with opening one. I said no the other day and they give me one anyway! Sometimes I have a book in there too but I can't read when I'm out, like on buses, my big green one fits so much stuff in :)
I've been meaning to put hand cream in. And stuff like lip balms and hand cream in a mini cosmetic bag and putting that in the bag instead of rummaging, but the hand cream doesn't fit! I've become really funny about hand cream now. I also have hand gel that you don't need water to use for after touching doggies. It has a penguin on the bottle!
come on i want descriptions of bags!

Yeh weather is a definate factor. If it's first thing in the morning and its raining I would glady carry my duvet around out in public lol I would just rather hide in something warm and baggy!
my anxiety comes from school as well and this being a small town, I love going to cities and seeing the mad people :)

go for it :)
I find I'm often too scared to wear something kind of wacky, I become so anxious about what people might call out at me in the street that the thought of wearing whatever makes me feel sick. I really don't care what people think but being called names by strangers is horrible. I want to wear my short shorts with tights and my red pointy shoes (they have a very small heal but still look like high heals) but then I feel too dressed up and since I deal with a number of dogs every week its just not practical. I love dressing up but I don't really go to that many places to dress up and I'm always in a rush so i forget to put together an outfit.

I've only ever owned converse once and they hurt my feet so much and then they collapsed in on themselves and it's just pointless having shoes made out of canvas in a country where you can bet your left sneaker that it will rain.

This is where I store the make up I use everyday, I tend to go in the other room to put make up on because the light and mirror is better so I carry it around :) and next to it is my little pouch with make up brushes in:
and this is where I keep make up that I don't use all the time, in my draw

using foundation and powder stops it doing that as fast and makes it last long, and moisteriser probably helps too. If I don't use moisteriser every day before I put make up on my skin goes all flakey. I've been looking at these pictures from a party and in the toilet mirrors my make up looked fine and in the picture it looks like i only have a tiny bit of mascara and blusher on!

I need some new shoes. I want posh lady shoes for work, but my feet hurt in flats! I only really wear the ballet pump things cuz they are juuuust right, little bit dressed up little bit not! But the pair i have now will probably fall apart soon but I make them look nice with polish haha I have another pair of ballet pumps but they're too big. I have a pair of 'posh lady shoes' for going out and special occasions though :) in heals I'm close to or dead on 6ft tall.
I always forget that I don't want real leather when I buy shoes...I get carried away, I can withstand the smell of bacon but not shiney shiney new shoes! I feel bad for that!
