Hi di hi folks :D Sorry I have not been around for a while :( It has been the dreaded Ofsted (school inspectors) for the past few days and before that i was poorly so I am so sorry for no contact. Well 2 good pieces of news - I have recieved my inchies from Debs - thank you soooo much they are lovely :D I am going to display them in my craft room. I will try to get on again soon to post pictures, but I have just been so busy! The second piece of ood news is that my school got graded as Outstanding in ALL areas!!!! I have never known that before!!! Its mad!!!! Plus I have had a mention in the write up :D yay!!!

Take a look for more inchie ideas - not sure if i am being to hopeful on the cost really as things are so expensive in the uk - the frames were £10 to start with!!! must find cheaper suppliers!!!

I frame them up in sets or individually - they are beautiful as they are mini art works that are really spontaneous :) You can also put them on cards. On the valentines swap thread there is an inchie i have made and put on a card for angel eve :)
You can also get 1" square necklace frames and wear them as jewelery - I may make mine out of textiles for this swap and turn them into brooches :)

Woop woop I am so happy that its arrived already - had a few issues with other swaps taking 9 - 10 weeks!!!
The clay art doll can be either propped up against a wall or i was thinking she looked quite nice with her legs dangling - but couldnt figure out a way of hanging her - maybe she could have a matching chocke iwas thinking - but then it looked like she was being hung by the neck :/
Yeah the card is handmade :) I am into inchies in a big way and make a lot of art with them. The charm can come off if you wish to re use it as a bracelet/necklace :)

Dropthetacos - I will post some pics once i have found my card reader - (you know when you tidy up and you put it in that really safe place - so safe you cant blinking find it - well that is where it is :/)

Yay Debs spread the love for afternoon tea over seas :) It is sooooo the best!!!
Can you get clotted cream there? MmMMM scones, clotted cream and strawberry conserve mmmmmm! I have had a productive day and made some chelsea buns and banana and pecan muffins. I wrote it on FB and now my brother is going to come over for afternoon tea in a few weeks - so I will be baking some yummy goodies for him and his family yay!
Mary is fab I recieved a message earlier from her and I think we are going to get on really well :)
When I went to China with school, one of the other staff gets lots of gifts given to him and alot of tea as you can imagine - in leaf form with lots of odd bits and bobs in it hahaha! Quite interesting at customs!
On another site i have swapped a package that was themed international snacks swap - i angeled for it and feel really bad as it still has not arrived (8 weeks later!) - I am wondering whether they have destroyed it for some of the reasons you are all mentioning :( I wish they would have told me because there was ove £40 worth of food goodies and an apron, flower brooch and finger puppets i made :( It also cost me £16 to send it!!!! Darn post office! Lesson learnt - rant over!

Aw Raven - I had that two weeks ago in my right hand ... and the doctor said dont use that hand - AS IF - I am a teacher - a TEXTILES teacher!!! If I cant sew then I cant breathe!!! Trying to dem on a sewing machine one handed was interesting!!! The best thing was taht the doctor said - no marking!!! I was like hmmm that aint gonna happen lol! Hope you get better soon - it is soooo painful - not only physically - but mentally with not being able to craft!!!
