    New Sewing Machine

Started over 2 years ago · Last post over 2 years ago ·
Thanks. I know how to go about trying to get the thread up, it just wasn't working. The top thread kept getting stuck somewhere by the bobbin case.

I finally got it figured out though. I just had to push the bobbin case in until it snapped. Only I didn't figure that out until I called the help number, because nowhere in the manual does it say anything about it snapping into place.`

Anyways, I got it figured out and everything works fine now.
    Thanks though! =)

    should I get these pants?

Started over 2 years ago · Last post over 2 years ago ·
I think the first ones are a bit more stylish than the second, but I like both of them. The first ones seem to be more of a current fashion trend.

    New Sewing Machine

Started over 2 years ago · Last post over 2 years ago ·
I got a Singer Tradition 2250 sewing machine for Christmas, and finally got it out to use it. Only I can't get it to work.
I've threaded the machine, and re-threaded it, about 10 different times. I've checked and re-checked the bobbin to make sure it was in correctly. And I still can't get the bottom thread to come out the top!

Can anyone help me??? Please! I'm so frustrated with it!

    What are you reading?

Started almost 6 years ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
I'm currently re-reading Prince Caspian. When I'm done, I'll probably read the rest of the Narnia stories. And I think I'll read The Hobbit and the other Lord of the Rings books, since I haven't yet and I love the movies.

    Saddle Oxfords?

Started over 2 years ago · Last post over 2 years ago ·
I would wear them with some tights and a skirt or shorts. If you're going to wear your skinny pants/jeans with them, you might be able to get away with wearing some funky socks that will peek out from the bottom of your pants.

what did you get for xmas

Started over 2 years ago · Last post over 2 years ago ·
I got a sewing machine, which I've been begging to have for at least 3 months now! Also got a little sewing box and a case for my sewing machine. Some dvds, set of pots and pans, sewing patterns, chocolate, 3-pack of Nutella, and some organic roll-on perfume oil.

It's still getting used to being stretched that far. Also, if you washed it with warm water, the warm water makes your body expand every so slightly. If you're going to try to put them back in after cleaning, I would suggest somehow running some cold water onto your earlobes, that way your skin will constrict and the hole will be a little larger and easier to get the plug back into.

What concerts have you been to?

Started over 2 years ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
Backstreet Boys were my first ever concert when I was in 6th grade, I think.
    Since then, I've seen:
    Linkin Park
    P.O.D.
    Hoobastank
    Story of the Year
    Foo Fighters
    Weezer
    Queens of the Stone Age
    Nine Inch Nails
    Red Hot Chili Peppers
Family Force 5 (a couple different times, they're so much fun)
an Australian band called Brother (not even sure if they're still together)
and an awesome Scottish band called Albannach.

A few years ago, I went to Warped Tour and there are loads of bands there, I can't remember them all. But I do know for sure that I watched Story of the Year again, Street Dogs and the most amazing Japanese ska band ever, Oreskaband!(they're all girls and hella adorable!)

Don't worry, it doesn't smell enough for other people to be able to smell them. The smell(if you have any at all) is caused from dead skin cells building up on and around the plugs. You may also see some white stuff; that's the dead skin cells. Just make sure to clean them regularly with hydrogen peroxide whenever and just with soap and water while you're in the shower. But don't worry about it, it's perfectly normal.

If your ears allow you to skip sizes without being in pain, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Just don't force your ears to stretch if they're not willing to do so. I used to stretch mine, but I only got up to 12g or 10g(can't remember now). They just would not go past that.

I always bought mine at Hot Topic. Spencers has some, but they're pretty basic.
    wickedbodyjewelz.com has some awesome ones.
    bodycandy.com also has some.

You're allowing it to affect you. You just have to step outside of the whole ordeal. I know you want to help your mom, but you also have to protect your own children. And if she's stalking your facebook, block her and make your profile private. I had to do that because people I knew were getting info about me and then sharing with my family members that aren't on facebook. And it was info that they didn't need to know about.

I think that the best thing you can do right now is to just ignore anything to do with your sister. If your mom brings her up, just pretend she never said anything.

My mother and one of her sisters go through the same kind of thing with their mother and another of their sisters and a brother. They've treated my grandmother like crap every since they got married, which was a long time ago. And my grandmother still talks to them because they ARE her children and she still holds onto the fact that they weren't always the kind of people they turned out to be. She hopes that they'll become nice again like they used to be. It's been like this since I can remember and I'm 22 years old now. Eventually, your mother will realize that your sister is toxic, but it's going to take time. You can't rush it. But you can be there for her. Just don't get so involved that it affects you or your children.

Yeah, SG-1 was the best because it was the original series. Although, I'm sad that I won't get to see Ronan Dex in every episode anymore :(

Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Grease and The Goonies are all classics that everyone must see. I also like Dazed and Confused, great music in that one as well. And Girl Interrupted in really good too!
    Good suggestions Jaeliniewinnie!

I sort of collect Converse Chuck Taylors, which is also functional because I wear them! I'm also currently trying to collect the Hello Kitty watches from McDonald's. My boyfriend collects NES games and Nintendo gaming systems.

one of those books you just can't put down

Started over 4 years ago · Last post about 2 years ago ·
Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Keisha'Ra Series and The Den of Shadows series both by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. Out of these though, I absolutely LOVE The Chronicles of Narnia! I plan on reading them all again, whenever I get my big book back from my sister.

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows

The only thing I didn't like about the movie was that they pretty much completely left out Dumbledore's back story. Other than that, it was almost dead on with the book, and therefore, AMAZING!!
They should have made all of the movies into 2 parts. I'm pretty sure everyone still would have seen them all considering the amount of people that already loved the books before the 1st movie even came out.

    what is ur favorite color!?

Started over 2 years ago · Last post almost 2 years ago ·
I love all colors, but green is my absolute favorite!
My old bedroom has a different color on each wall: one is dark pink, next to it is lime green, next to that is sky blue, and the last wall is a light bright orange. =)

Hello all! I found this site a while ago, but just recently decided to join. I love crafting! I'll try just about anything, within financial allowance, lol. I'm hoping to be getting a sewing machine for Christmas, so I'll most likely post my creations from that. I also enjoy drawing, paper crafts, jewelry making with beads and string, etc.
I look forward to learning new projects from all of you! =)
