I like the idea above, I did this last summer, and it's great as you can tie your hair back in a way that the colour doesn't show whilst you are at work.

Last five pounds... any tips?
Started about 1 year ago · Last post about 1 year ago ·
I'm in the same situation as you - I lost about 35 pounds and I now have 7 left to lose and have been trying for about the last year but nothing is coming off :(
I know with me is that I am just eating too much. I keep losing a pound or too, then have a week of lots of eating out with bdays and stuff and then put it back on again.
Have you tried using fitnesspal.com? I find it really useful for tracking food and exercise.

I don't know how to break up with my boyfriend...
Started about 1 year ago · Last post about 1 year ago ·
Oh dear Rawr Rawr - I was in the sames position as you with my ex who I was with from the age of 16 to 22, I didnt realise how different we had become until I went abroad for a year and realised I much preferred time with my friends. Breaking up was very difficult but it was for the best. He also got suicidal but I simply did not want to be with him and nothing could change that. One thing that I think did help him is that we stayed friends for a while and gradually stopped seeing and speaking to each other less.
He was very lazy too and it wasn't until we split up that he admitted that he was expecting for me to finish uni and get a good job so that he could stay home and play video games!!
The plus side of it is that when we were together he wanted to go travelling around asia when we finished uni which I didn't want to as I wanted to focus on my career - he's now living other there and I'm sure he is happier than ever.
As Olivia said definetely do it in person, it is the least you can do. But if I were you do it sooner rather than later so that you can start to spend time on yourself and doing what you want to do without him holding you back.

I don't understand the fake plugs...
Started almost 3 years ago · Last post 24 days ago ·
haha Mi Ezekatze, my nose piercing took 10 years of thinking!! Finally got it done 2 years ago - I was a bit worried as I wanted to have a career in business and thought it might get in the way. Luckily I landed a job where they value your work more than how you look so it doesnt matter. Applying for a new job within the organisation in another department where I think the manager isn't quite as laid back though so I guess I'll have to take it out for the interview.
I really wish people wouldn't judge others on how they look and the music they listen to, it's really starting to piss me off!! Back when I was 15/16 I can remember telling my stepdad that I wanted to study international management, he basically laughed in my face as I had blue hair, a plug and plenty piercings, saying that I would never make it. 10 years on I have studied at 2 of the best business schools in the world and got the job I was hoping for in the first place.
PS: Loving the fact the kids love them I've just got these visions of "miss, why do you have big holes in your ears?"

I don't understand the fake plugs...

Very true So Lala, I once went to the doctors for an infected piercing ( I was 14 and clueless) and he basically just told me he could not help me and to go to the piercer, which I did got some solution and it was sorted within a few weeks.
There is a risk with all piercings - even just your lobe but to be honest I've heard of a lot more people having problems with piercings than stretched ears.

Denim advice please :)?
Started about 1 year ago · Last post about 1 year ago ·
There's a tutorial on distressing here: http://www.madebylex.com/2010/06/how-to-distress-denim-jeans.html
I'd suggest you marked out the skull pattern, then using the knife method from the tutorial, distressed the inside of that pattern.

linkxthexemo - I don't understand: blue screwdriver bits??
hehe I was in a similar situation to you - I had a 15mm plug (no idea what that is in gauges) in one of my ears but about 9 years ago had to take them out for a uni interview, I never manged to get the plug back in. I also tried stretching again but an event always came up where I needed to take it out.
I still have a line where the plug used to be but don't regret it either way - I don't wish I still had it and don't think they look horrible. However I do still think they look really nice on men (your wife has good taste :) ).

Thinking of cutting my hair, what do you think?
Started about 1 year ago · Last post about 1 year ago ·
Hey Girls, thanks for all the advice. I ended up cutting it in the end took about 4 inched off, side parting and more layers. I feels so much healthier now and as I thought it has more volume.
I do usually try to do deep conditioning treatments once a week or so and I use serum everytime after I wash my hair. I rarely use heat on my hair and leave it to dry naturally. I think my hair became damaged either from dyeing ( but not much, only bout once every 3 months) and just sheer lack of haircuts.
Just after having my hair cut I got a sinus infection (boohoo!) so haven't had a chance to show it off, but the one night I did go out I got quite a few compliments so I assume its suiting me. I might still grow it back out with the shorter layers, I guess I'll just see how I feel.
Felecity - I will remember the vinegar trick, I assume you do that before shampoo or your hair will smell?

Tattoos
Started over 1 year ago · Last post 9 months ago ·
Wow Rawr Rawr, I love those angel wings! I dont have any tattoos. I would love to have one and I keep seeing so many amazingly beautiful ones but unfortunetly growing up my mum worked doing skin camouflage ie, semi permanent makeup covering scars and tattoes. After hearing so many people regretting their tattoos, it has kind of stuck that it's a huge decision that you can't go back on. So far I have plenty of piercings, as you can just take those out, but I have never regretted any of those and still wear them every day. Anyway, I've been thinking that I'd like to get 2 cute little kittens behing each ear like this: http://media-cdn.pinterest.com/upload/27232772716235721_o9pzq4G2_b.jpg and some orchids down the side of my ribs.

Work Dress Code Help Needed!

I'd say what your wearing is pretty much spot on to what I would expect a waitress to wear. Formal but still comfortable as you'll certainly be doing a lot of running around. You look great!!

Thinking of cutting my hair, what do you think?
Started about 1 year ago · Last post about 1 year ago ·
Actually, I think I'm going to go for it - but as you said Olivia, slightly shorter and more layers, and have a side parting for a change - can't do bangs though - they gave me headaches when I had them once before.
I just found some old pics of me with hair about the length I want it (these were 2 and a half years ago and I've lost 35 pounds since then!)

OK, so I've been growing my hair for about 3 years now to get it to the length it is now. Over the past year it has been getting rather annoying, ie. getting knotty, getting, in my food, I have to tie it up at night. As I've been looking at some pics it's looking quite dull with no volume - I'm guessing the length is weighing the hair down. Does any one have the same issues and does a good hair cut help? And also do you think it would suit me?
I basically just want to make it more manageable.
Here's my hair now:
My hair is straightened in the last one (it really doesn't straighten very easily)
This is the kind of style I'd want:
OK, it's not that that much of a difference but would still be taking 3/4 inches off and shorter layers.

anybody done any craft courses?
Started about 1 year ago · Last post about 1 year ago ·
Do you live in the UK? I haven't gone on any but I know most local colleges do evening classes once a week which you should be able to fit into your schedule. There's also a college in Bristol that might still do 1 or 2 days courses.

Style Inspirations
Started over 1 year ago · Last post about 1 year ago ·
Hmmm, I can't think of any paticular style inspiration, I do get a lot of ideas from sites like tumblr, lookbook and pinterest.
I am quite open minded fashion wise. If I had to describe it I'd probably have to say a feminine, smart metal head. I adore biker boots, leather jackets and cut up band t-shirts, and I tend to wear them with feminine dresses or blazers. I am also a sucker for any kind of silver jewellery (yes I am a human magpie ;))
I guess it kind of sums up my life, I love metal, I work a corporate job and I'm a real woman round the house :)

Your Blogs-what do you write about and how often?
Started over 1 year ago · Last post about 1 year ago ·
Hey all I'm loving this thread. I recently started my own blog, unfortunately with a full time job, 2 little kittens and a partner to look after I've been struggling to find time, so only getting to only update about once every 2weeks. I'm keeping the categories down to DIY fashion, home deco, beauty, jewellery and cooking, but absolutely everything self made.
I'm planning on doing some updating this weekend though. I've got a few tutorials to put on: A lace mini skirt, a couple of customised t-shirts and a jewellery tutorial. It's annoying as I really enjoy doing it, and I always take pics as I'm going along, it's just finding the time to do it really.
I'm also trying to put a list of favorite blogs on my site, and I have found a few on here to add but I am adding them bit by bit, so will be contacting people I've added as I add them to let them know.
The blog is more as a repertoire for me, kind of like souvenirs of what I've made. And I want to keep my favorite links as sites I would like to visit everyday so no one should feel left out if I don't add them - it's just that they have a different style for example.

But yeh if your happier with hairy pits go for it!

BB Cream?
Started almost 2 years ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
I tried the garnier one but it just made my skin really greasy, and didn't have much coverage, was worse than a cheap tinted moisteriser to be honest. For colour, I used the medium one and that matched my skin fine though.

I know mine does the same thing - some times it works some times it doesn't. I find it really quite annoying and is the reason why I don't upload that many tutorials on CO+K.
