Granny Square problem, please help!

Try blocking a square and see if that helps. Spray your square (damp, not soaking) and gently stretch and pin into the shape you want. sometimes that can make the difference.

Granny Square problem, please help!
Started over 1 year ago · Last post 12 months ago ·
Have you dampened and pinned them to dry? That's called blocking and may solve the issue. If it's a very noticeable issue on a larger square, are you flipping the square and "reversing direction" for lack of a better term on the different rows?

Tagging projects
Started over 1 year ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
part of the tagging process is to help us find similar things later. there's a ton of different names for things that go around you neck (choker, necklace, bangle...) and if everyone named their own it'd be difficult to search for necklaces.

Languages
Started over 1 year ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
There's tons of books and book-cd combos through book stores, learning to write languages can generally be done by googling and research. there's also rosetta (spelling?) stone online and someone on here once mentioned a free rosetta stone type site. there might also be a "conversation group" of a language in or near your community.
I speak English and learned French first. It's a Latin based language so, I've been told, learning Italian (and Spanish, I think) is easier. when i went to Italy I could understand some written words.

i had a cream/lotion from the salon that i squeezed-massaged in my hair with my perm and it helps the curls, that could possibly help you natural curls.

Why don't you plan an Unbirthday party or Half Birthday party for yourself? It'd be similar to a birthday but since it'd not really the birthday fairies can't get mad!

Toronto can be an expensive and potentially dangerous place to live (like most large cities) don't forget to look at surrounding areas.

What to do with old bras
Started over 1 year ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
there's some fundraisers that collect old bras and then companies donate money based on how many bras there al. you could always see if they do that in your area.

Fabric Paint Help Please!!
Started over 1 year ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
i saw (but haven't tried yet) a watermark type of stencil. you use clear school glue to draw your picture, let it dry and then dye it. washing removes the glue and leaves white behind! i can find the how-to if you'd like.

How did you items compare to others that seemed to sell well? Perhaps your items were not popular because you were at the wrong type of sale. I go to anime conventions to sell things (well, I've just started) and I'm slowly learning what will sell there and for what price.

I'm wanting to learn how to speak Japanese.
Started over 1 year ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
check to see if any local colleges or unis have classes. perhaps you could attend or even buy the class book. i took intro 1 in college and the book was great for having a bit of everything (w/ a cd, methinks) from words, letters and random japanese facts.
just so you know, i found it hard. i didn't go in to intro 2 because i just couldn't grasp the sentence structure. very different from english and french! that, and having 3 different ways to right stuff (which may be the least of your worries) is... interesting

try to d0 your best while keeping the peace with e the family. What's worse, no place to live or redoing a sleep schedule? Personally, I'd rather have a place to live. If you have the money to move out soon focus on that.
