A rinse of a water/vinegar mix (4+ parts water to 1 part vinegar) after shampooing helps to get rid of excess oil and product buildup. I do it once a week-ish on a day when I don't shampoo and my hair is wicked soft and shiny. Cider vinegar is supposed to be better, but I've only used white.
