So recently my university started adding more vegan choices to our food. I'm not vegan but I'm really happy about it because I'm allergic to different foods (including diary)and don't really eat meat, so its nice to have more choices. So now we're getting more soups that are vegan, and when they make things with meat sometimes they have the same option without meat and diary. Small changes like that.
And a bunch of students are pissed because of this saying that the university shouldn't be pushing their healthy beliefs on them, that they can eat what they want and that they shouldn't have to keep seeing these options. Um wtf? I don't even understand this thinking, you get to choose what you want to eat anyway there's tons of options but their upset because they have to see it so those of us who don't want things cooked with meat and diary have to suffer?
Its a bunch of bullshit and really stupid.

I didn't get to really celebrate this year, but my mom handed out candy like she always does. She said they only got one trick or treater. And she kept the lights on til about 9. And there wasn't anyone really out near me, it seemed like everyone stayed in.

I use to have that problem a lot more than I do now. I had blue hair at one point, and I've got a couple facial piercings, and it didn't matter what store it was, from a craft store to a grocery store, I'd be followed. What annoyed me more was when my hair grew back in as dark brown, it mostly stopped.
The worse time was a couple years ago, a friend and I went to our local mall, and the mall security guard followed us for 3 1/2 hours. Into every single store. He even watched us while we ate in the food court. And us being like 16, we figured if we didn't say anything he would just stop. Nope. He did it every time we went until we had to go to his boss to make it stop. It was horrible.

Creative mind - I've gotten over it but you can't seem to drop it and I continue to get messages from others over what your talking about, and you say that you haven't mentioned me specifically but people have commented to me over what your saying and everyone reads these forums. Its not hard to figure out what your talking about after you posted all over the Pokemon swap. Its not immature to be mad that someone is being rude over something that happened months ago. You've been publicly putting me down since then and I'm sick of it. I was extremely polite over it, didn't complain with the stuff you sent, sent you an email instead of posting on the forums, and you keep bringing it.
I've been nothing but mature about it, and I've asked you to stop, which you can't seem to do. This is the last time I'm going to comment on this, lets please move on.

Creative mind- Please get over our swap. We didn't go into specifics into how much we were sending and I apologized, I did quality over quantity which I'm sorry you didn't appreciate. I didn't blast you all over the boards about how unhappy I was with it and I don't appreciate you continuing to go on about it. I'm not trying to be rude but I'm very sick of you posting about it, and it wasn't that my feelings were hurt. I was embarrassed that you weren't mature enough to message me, instead you start posting about it on many different forums. I've tried to let this drop but you can't seem to. If you really want, feel free to send what I sent you back and I'll send yours back.
With the agreement/pledge, I'm all for it. It would be a good way to keep the swaps more organized and have a history of each swapper. And I agree with rating it based on the requirements of the swap:)

1) What is your favorite thing about swapping? Getting a package in the mail that someone's spent alot of time on:D
2) What is your least favorite thing about swapping? The post office. I'm always having issues shipping to other countries.
3) What was your favorite swap to make for? The Newbie swap
4) What was your favorite swap to get? The Kawiaii swap. She put alot of time and effort into it and it was her first swap.
5) What do you think is a perfect number of items to make for a swap? It really depends on the person your swapping with.
6) How long do you think a swap should take? Again depends.
7) Do you like to get items that were not hand crafted in the swap, like candy? A little but if its all store bought stuff then I wouldn't like it.
8) What type of swap would you like to see in the future? Hmm.. A bag swap would be fun:D
9) How often do you think swap partners should be in touch? As much as possible, or that's needed.
10) What do you think is the best way to weed out the people who flake on a swap? Don't know. On one hand I agree with the name and shame them but there's plenty of people on here who will do it if their angry at someone. If it could be kept strictly to Name the people who you haven't heard from since then I'd agree with it.
On that note though it just seems like it would open up a whole bunch of hate. That's like saying we should start a board with peoples swaps we didn't like and name them there. If it could just be a simple name who didn't send out then I agree. Sadly it won't happen though and it'll turn out as a flame board.

It's a really good Horror novel about vampires. Its by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan.
It's about vampires, but nothing like twilight, its the brutal, savage type vampires. It's going to be trilogy and their making a movie soon:D
